3 INNOVATIONS IN DENTISTRY X CONGRESS OF DENTISTS OF CIS 3 VLADIMIR vagner Chairman of the Board of International Dental Association «Commonwealth» With the aim of maintaining existing throughout many decades scientific and working communications between national institutes and the scientific and practical dental centers of CIS countries, improvement of cooperation and interaction between specialists, contribution to compression of dental morbidity of the population in 2011 International Dental Association «Commonwealth» was created. I express firm belief that its activity will promote incorporation and coordination of our actions for protection of the professional and social rights of dental speciality experts, strengthening of stomatological well-being of our people. For many years the main working platform for the solution of our common problems is the Congress of dentists of CIS and it is hoped that now and in the future it will encourage protection and strengthening of our professional relations. Orlando Monteiro da Silva FDI President FDI World Dental Federation unites over 200 national dental associations and specialist groups. Through them, it represents some 1,000,000 members of the dental profession worldwide, supporting a single vision of Leading the World to Optimal Oral Health. FDI maintains that it is the role of dental profession to help achieve good health through good oral health. In support of this, FDI will now be articulated through five basic approaches, focusing on prevention, the dental workforce, access to oral care and the promotion of technology and research and the move towards green dentistry. Ivanova (Russia) One of the most actual topics for Eastern European countries is the information dearth in a new dental technologies and innovative knowledge. We intend to improve and enhance their knowledge to bring dental Hi-Tech with Master-Classes, Scientific Conferences, Training Seminars, Workshops and organize annual meeting of the Presidents of Dental Associations of Eastern European countries and members of the ERO WG Integration using the opportunity of MosExpoDental in Gostiny Dvor in Moscow. This initiative of the ERO WG Integration can serve as a good base for a fruitful cooperation between Western, Central and Eastern Europe in the middle of them in Moscow. According to this intention during the meeting of ERO WG Integration and the Presidents of Eastern European Dental Associations will discuss the most actual topics in dentistry in each national countries, find out their common problems and have their commitment to collaborate all together to solve them and bring the best from each countries to ERO. It is equally important to establish a good relations between ERO countries, relations with Ministries of healthcare of national countries, have feed-back from CIS countries, due to politics exchange between ERO Western, Central and Eastern countries we can solve dental professional problems improving items of prevention, dental education, liberal dental practice, quality and standards of oral healthcare. During the meeting of ERO WG Integration and the Presidents of Eastern European Dental Associations which will be held 15th of November 2012 in Gostiny Dvor in Moscow will discuss of ERO collaboration, the current situation of dental professional education in ERO countries and suggested prophylaxis program.

During the event will be held the meeting of ERO WG Integration and the Presidents of Eastern European Dental Associations on15th of November 2012 where will discuss of ERO collaboration, the current situation of dental professional education in ERO countries and suggested prophylaxis program. For the first time X CONGRESS OF CIS DENTISTS will be held as a part of the exhibition MosExpoDental. Speakers from USA, Germany, Italy, France, Holland, Netherlands, Israel and Russia will share the highest level of knowledge. Many of the speakers are invited to Moscow for the first time that makes the Congress a unique and exclusive training tool for dental professionals. Traditionally in expositional section of the event will participate with demonstration of modern technologies and equipment for diagnostics and treatment of the dental diseases, high-technology medical products, the innovative developments for rendering of high quality medical dental services. For the first time we will organize ceremonial presentation of international award of «The best social project in dentistry in countries of CIS ». You have the possibility to follow the ceremonies and the election of participants of the competition in social network services of Facebook and Odnoklassniki in the groups of MosExpoDental. Traditionally MosExpoDental exhibitors will present to visitors the extensive program of actions at their floor cases, including lectures about the materials and the equipment, demonstrations, hand-on courses and presentations. Dentists from Moscow and neighbour regions for four years visit with pleasure MosExpoDental exhibition in Moscow Gostiniy Dvor exhibition center. The Association was established in Among its members there are many dentists not only from Erevan city, but from all regions of Armenia. During these years the Association organized All-Armenian forums, congresses, lectures, seminars, workshop sessions. We work in close cooperation with a large number of Associations from all over the world. The Association publishes its own magazine «Bulletin of oral and maxillofacial surgery», approved by State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles. The association actively participates in development of the legal documents which are accepted by decisions of the Government and Ministry of Health of Armenia. The Association is the member of FDI and ERO, where it carries out constructive efforts. Its representatives were continually elected in steering committees of abovementioned organizations. In Armenia there are Erevan State Medical University and about fifteen private medical institutions. President professor Kurakbayev Kural Kurakbaevich. National Kazakhstan Stomatological Association was established in 2008 by delegates of the 3rd Congress of the republican dentists was registered in accordance with the established procedure. Its branches are situated in 16 regions of the Republic, but they are not independent legal entities. The main actions on dental issues in the Republic (congresses, symposiums, international conferences) are carried out by National Kazakhstan Stomatological Association which at present encounters more than 3500 members. In the Republic dental education is carried out in 6 state medical institutions with annual number of graduates. Additionally 12 medical colleges educate dentists (250 students) and dental technicians (150 students). Nowadays about 4000 dentists with medical degree and 1200 with no medical degree work in the Republic. In Kazakhstan Republic there are 570 active dental organizations, with state-owned legal entity and organizations with non-state legal entity. INFORMATION ABOUT ASSOCIATIONS

Stomatological Association of Kirghiz Republic (SAKR) public association of Kyrgyzstan stomatologists. It earlier existed under the name of Scientific Society of stomatologists as it was common in many CIS countries. In 1999 it was one of the first that was registered in existing official format. Nevertheless the official member status have slightly more than 150 people, the association unites all the Republican stomatologists, who are working in private and state stomatological clinics, dental technicians and nurses of dental profile. President of SAKR Kalbayev Abibilla Akburayevich, as well as many other members of the Association is an active supporter of wide international cooperation. The president, and the representatives of SAKR take active part in the medical dental congresses, meetings in the Central Asian Region (Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), maintain traditionally close friendly relations with dentists of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, actively and successfully develop new contacts with colleagues from the other countries and first of all from Turkey, Germany, Sweden, Holland, Bulgaria, Israel, Belgium, South Korea and the USA. President professor Ion Lupan. Moldova Dental Association was established in November 27, 1997 and it was the member of former Association of USSR countries. The present Association provides scientific activity, organizes dental congresses and conferences in Moldova Republic, participates in congresses both national and international and is a member of ERO and FDI. The president of MSA is professor Ion Lupan, vicepresident Valeriu Fala, Doctor of Medical Science, General Secretary with a right to vote Oleg Solomon, Doctor of Medical Science, office-manager of the Association Alla Malkova. The Association is the sole organization in Moldova Republic, which is in charge of all the issues, related to dentistry, together with Republic of Moldova Ministry of Health. The Association is closely associated with the only State University of Medicine and Pharmacy «Nicolae Testemitsanu», with whom it holds scientific activities. INFORMATION ABOUT ASSOCIATIONS

Association of non-governmental organizations «Russian Dental Association» is All-Russia non-governmental organization, which represents a public association of non-governmental organizations juridical entities. «Russian Dental Association» was established in the 28th of February, At present time the Association consists of 67 regional dental associations, which associate totally about dentists. The Association is created for assistance in lowering the morbidity in the population and strengthening the people s health, for assistance in development of medical science and practice in the field of dentistry, for coordination of member activities in protection of the professional and social rights of experts of the dental profile. The Association represents and protects the interests of the member organizations at federal level and in subjects of the Russian Federation. In Turkmenistan there are more than 1200 practicing dentists, who at different time graduated from Turkmenian State Medical Institute and various dental institutions of CIS countries including Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy, Moscow Stomatological Institute, Kirghiz Medical Institute and the others. At present time education of dentists is carried out by Turkmenian State Medical University (TSMU), which admits 15 applicants per year from all regions of Turkmenistan. In Turkmenistan all dental schools for dentists with no medical degree are closed. Education of dental technicians is carried out by medical colleges, where dental departments are opened. Ukrainian Dental Association is All Ukrainian non-governmental organization, which unites on the basis of common interests and on a professional basis the citizens of Ukraine dentists, medical practitioners of other related professions and also experts of other fields of knowledge, whose activities are connected with the problems of dentistry. Ukrainian Dental Association was established in 1994 and accounts for more than thirteen thousand members, who are united in 27 regional subdivisions, that corresponds to administrative structure of Ukraine. At present time there are 12 specialized associations and a number of other non-governmental organizations of dentists: 1. Ukrainian Association of Periodontists; 2. Ukrainian Association of Orthodontists; 3. Ukrainian Association of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons; 4. Ukrainian Endodontal Association; 5.
