2 Members, Partners and Collaborators, 2011 has been a great year full of challenges for the award winning Latino Entrepreneurial Network Incorporated. We steadily maintain our membership, increase our budget and continue impacting entrepreneurs and young adults. We had some extraordinary accomplishments, our top ten are: 1. Partnered with the US Hispanic Chamber Foundation to launch and kick-off the Green Builds Business training. Thirty-two entrepreneurs benefited from the training program and two members received a $6, business coaching grant. 2. Received a $10, grant from the Local Inititatives Service Corporation to assist the Cesar Chavez Bid and the Clarke Square Initiative. 3. Received a $10, grant from the Helen Bader Foundation to kick off our Green Entrepreneurial Bootcamp. 4. Conducted a Construction, Risk Management and a Lenders Fair connecting entrepreneurs with key resources impacting over 100 entrepreneurs. 5. Empowered 28 ethnically diverse young adults through entrepreneurial education and financial awareness in partnership with State Farm and US Bank. 6. Designed and Delivered our first Cash Flow Management series for Contractors in partnership with Tri-City National Bank. 7. Continued our reciprocal membership programs with Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce and Hispanic Business Professionals of Racine. 8. We were also part of important commission and advisory groups that reshaped the way some key agencies conduct businesses in our state. 9. Continued our two year partnership with OSHA empowering contractors with safety training. 10. Our Executive Director was named the UMOS Hispanic Man of He was also interviewed by the National TV Show HBT in Washington, DC. We look forward to continue our partnership and strategic alliances while promoting entrepreneurship and wealth accumulation practices that lead to self-sufficiency, family empowerement and community development. Hemos mantenido nuestra membresía constante, aumentado nuestro presupuesto e impactado más de 500 empresarios y 129 jóvenes. Hemos tenido algunos logros extraordinarios de los cuales los primeros diez son: 1. En conjunto con la Fundación de la Cámara Hispana Estadounidense se lanzó el Progama Green Builds Business desde la ciudad de Milwaukee a través del cual treinta y dos empresarios fueron entrenados y dos de los miembros recibieron una beca de asesoría por el valor de $6, dólares cada uno. 2. Recibimos una donación de US $ 10, dólares de la Corporación de Iniciativas de Servicio Local para ayudar al Distrito Empresarial de César Chávez y la Iniciativa de Clarke Square. 3. Recibimos una beca de $10, dólares de la Fundación Helen Bader para dar inicio a nuestro Campamento Empresarial Verde. 4. Se llevaron a cabo ferias de construcción, de manejo de riesgos y una feria de prestamistas donde más de 100 empresarios se conectaron con recursos claves. 5. Educamos a 28 jóvenes de distantas razas en temas empresariales y asuntos financieros en asociación con State Farm y el banco US Bank. 6. Diseñamos y entregamos nuestra primera sesión educativa para empresarios en manejo del flujo de efectivo en colaboración con Tri-City National Bank. 7. Continuamos nuestros programas de membresía recíproca con la Cámara Estatal de Comercio Hmong y La Asociación de Profesionales y Empresarios de Racine. 8. También fuimos parte de comisiones y grupos de asesoramiento que participaron en la reconfiguración de dos agencias estatales. 9. Continuamos nuestras asociación de dos años con OSHA entrenando a contrasistas en el area de seguridad. 10. Nuestro Director Ejecutivo fue nombrado el Hombre Hispano del 2011 por UMOS. También fue entrevistado por el programa HBT en Washington DC. Esperamos continuar nuestra colaboración y alianzas estratégicas, mientras seguimos la promoción de prácticas empresariales y la educación a empresarios para mejorar su bienestar económico, para que sean autosuficiencientes, contribuyan a la comunidad y tengan control de las riendas de sus vidas.
