INTRODUCTION 1 In business management, the area defined as Internal Logistics or Industrial Logistics, that it is manufacturing companies or distribution companies, or third party logistics, is an important part in the perspective of costs and competitive advantages. is a system for the operational management of all activities of the warehouses (raw Automa materials, intermediates, components, finished goods, etc..), in a perspective of integrated management of spaces, volumes and transactions with a single tool. It s an instrument that, in the hands of the warehouse manager, allows to achieve optimized and rational management of all operations, with real-time control of the resources used and the movements performed Integration with the Business Information System is a tool typically operational that, connected with the enterprise system, does not replace Automa and change the normal management procedures available to the administrative, commercial, of Production, Executive, etc.., procedures that support business activities such as issuance of purchase orders, customer order management, production planning, etc.. Automa is a departmental system with client-server structure that, in respect of the Business Information System communicates over a few basic guidelines: acquired by the latter requests of handling (input materials, output materials, food production lines) Send the outcome of the requested and performed movements update shared information (customer records, inventories, inventories). INFORMATION SYSTEM GROUP INFORMATION SYSTEM FACTORY Automa RADIO TERMINALS WAREHOUSE OPERATOR 1 This document provides a general description of the software Automa and should not be considered exhaustive or binding a specific technical features and product functionality

1. KEY FEATURES 1.2. Assets under management Using the Material Handling methods of the state of art, Automa supports the following activity: Identification, monitoring, composition of Loading Unit (UDC), sorting of incoming materials Allocation of materials in the warehouses Scheduling of requests for output (customer orders, work orders and production) Management of the entire collection missions and fractionated picking for the preparation of orders Redial orders shipping in the area Management of packaging operations (optional) Check, check shipments, print of support documents to shipping Internal Displacements Inventories Exchange information with the Company Information System (Host) Independence from the structure of the warehouse and type of materials is independent by the physical structure of managed storage, which can be structured Automa areas (standard pallet racking, drive-in racks, cantilever, etc..) or unstructured areas (stacks, yards, stations online, etc..). is multi-plant, multi-warehouse, multi-area and can handle remote warehouse from the Automa seat where installed. can handle any type of material, operated with different units, with variations of the main Automa product code, such as color, size, processing, etc Tracking & Tracing allows at any time and for any product or movement to verify the tracking and tracing, as Automa well as to manage the movements in accordance with the expiry dates. manages the production lots and even the serial numbers of products. Automa 1.5. Radiofrequency The use of tools for automatic identification (barcode or RFID), connected to the network via WiFi protocol is a fundamental requirement to obtain important advantages: Stay connected and real-time control of the operators Timely availability of the materials after acceptance Dynamic and real-time synchronization of operations in cascade Elimination of almost total handling errors Monitoring the progress of real-time activity 1.6. Adaptability System is applicable to all types of stock and allows you to reconfigure the structure The Automa and management of the map easily, making it very adaptable to use the system in case of corporate change (new stores, moves, new products, new processes, etc..)

1.7. Modules The modular architecture is designed for scalability which allows you to add modules later in response to new needs, without loss of investment value. Consequently even the initial cost of the system is proportional to the actual needs

1.8. Optimizations achievable The implementation of Automa makes possible a general and profound improvement in the functioning of the warehouse, with major enhancements such as: accuracy of the operations, reduce errors; Increased worker productivity; optimal use of storage capacity; ensuring the application of the FIFO to the outputs of materials; almost complete elimination of the missing goods and obsolete materials; timely and accurate knowledge of the stock and the progress of work; programmability of the workload; reduction of inventories; reduction of downtime and unladen journeys; reduction of damage; reliability of inventories; better knowledge of the operating parameters of the warehouse. 2. MAIN FUNCTIONS 1.9. Storage configuration Registries The registries are tables on the articles of the products handled, the types of pallets / containers / packaging, customers, carriers, suppliers. The population of the personal data can be done with the data received from the Host or with the insert (or full completion) from an Automa location. The data of the Registry key items are: item number, color / size (if managed), EAN code, description, unit of storage and purchasing, article type, etc..; size and weight; Class ABC; Maximum and minimum stock; flags lock / unlock; packaging / packaging / pallet / container std and alternative, side of forking; palletizing plan, stacking; industry sector, family, brand, etc..; storage area and preferred alternatives; personalization of article for storage; personalization of article for customer. For the personal data of customers, suppliers, carriers, in plus of all information are typical provided information such as: area and macro area; points of loading / unloading; hours of loading / unloading; closing days; UDC standards; n. UDC per truck; etc

Users The configuration of Automa provides users to operate on a PC workstation, on radio terminals, means of handling. Access to the radio terminal and the PC is enabled with a password. The qualifications are differentiated by the radio terminal and PC functions and can be customized to all access to the system, both for normal operation, both for the configuration changes Unit load (UDC) It can be run any type of UDC, as well as packaging or packaging. For each item can be combined different types of pallets of packaging / packaging, palletizing, which according to the plan in the registry (n. pieces per package, n. layer per packaging, N. layers of packaging) leads to the formation of the UDC monoreference. It also possible manage multireference UDC. All of the UDC are tagged with labels printed by Automa for the recognition of their life at any time in the warehouse. The label includes a paragraph unique Progressive and can contain, if necessary, other information such as product code, lot, etc.. On formation of the UDC system combines to the identifying number all the necessary information: Article and quantity; size of the UDC (height, length, depth); weight of the UDC; side of forking; stackable UDC; if possible, lot, expiration, etc... The data size and weight are automatically calculated with data obtained from: registry items; chart packaging; Table pallets; table containers. In the case of non-palletised products, the SVP may be the single packaging, cardboard, etc.. 3. THE FUNCTIONS OF HANDLING Automa allows the movement of goods using radio frequency portable terminals. If necessary (in case of malfunctions in the radio) are available manual functions (with the use of personal computers in the network). All movements take place in real time and then the system is able to respond at any time regarding the availability and location of the products to escape. Automa controls the entire process from the entry of goods in stock (these are from internal - Automa Automa production and / or external) to the exit for sale or for other kinds of motion (c / processing, returns etc...) Acceptance materials With this function are controlled all the movements of products from: - External production - Purchases from the supplier - WORK OF OTHERS - 8 -

- Provided by customer This feature also allows you to produce labels UDC (article, packaging, packing and payment by reading radio frequency terminal External production: Case of products sent to the warehouse and from external facilities. In this case it is possible that the external plant is directly connected to the central system (host) of the company and therefore the issue of the bubble (if necessary) to accompany the goods you send to the System department Automa the information of the products arrival at the warehouse. In the event that the plant is not connected to the central system, you can load data directly from a special synthetic and essential Automa procedure. In both cases the data are loaded as "provisional" (materials to be received) in the acceptance materials (ACEMA). Upon receipt of the material, information is physically moved from "safe" to "final" and therefore the cargo is loaded in ACEMA. From ACEMA the goods can be passed (sample) area TESTING. The remaining products can be stored in the warehouse with the mark "Do not take" (because of the pending testing) or remain in the ACEMA. A test case the goods are transferred from ACEMA to stock warehouse. During this operation (read barcode UDC) is made a square between the declared facility (data bubble) and the actual paid in stock Purchases from supplier: It involves the same procedures described above in the case of establishment is not connected with the central system. The vendor charged bubbles, check (read barcode) are stored and transferred on request to the central system that will update your records in order supplier and inventory accounting. Is possible reverse the procedure which provides for the first loading of the central system and subsequent transfer to Automa. Automa Work of others: The procedure involves the components TRACEABILITY where necessary. They are run as for the previous cases the squares of the products out to C / processing and then returned. application also provides on-line connection with any suppliers c / process by The Automa which the company intends to work closely Returns from customers: The procedure is due to the cases described above Recognition of materials As previously mentioned, the materials are recognized in the system Automa by reading the barcode placed in each UDC. Are distinct then 2 special cases: - Already labeled plant material - Materials uploaded to ACEMA and not labeled - 9 -

In the first case Automa is already in a position to process the material received in the warehouse. In the second case, the procedure that handles the acceptance materials is able to produce labels UDC (item, case, packaging and pallets) that are necessary for the payment through the reading laser with radio frequency terminal. Automa also provide handling of materials / products managed to SERIAL NUMBER and eventually belonging to a certain production lot. Is obvious that the material / product label can contain more useful information for automatic recognition of this information. Is available in Automa the form for connection to automatic scales has items with the issue of product labels Materials testing As mentioned in the "material acceptance" of the incoming products in stock can be subjected to testing operations. The function provides an archive of support (possibly timed automatically by the central system if it manages information) in which are identified all suppliers / products that need testing. Upon receipt of these, Automa immediately report the warehouse where the material is to be tested. The testing can be carried out at random or on the entire batch of product entered. In the first case Automa can do as follows: - Transfer of the product sample to be tested by ACEMA to TESTING area - Storage of the product remaining in storage cells flagged as "NOT downloadable product." The cells are busy but the product is not available except through a stretch. - Alternatively, the remaining product is located in ACEMA in response of testing occurred. Only then can the product be paid in stock. In the second case the product is transferred fully to the test area and successfully stored in the warehouse PAYMENT IN STOCK The function makes use of radio frequency equipment with integrated laser scanner for the recognition of the material you intend to pay in stock. is able to handle the payment of one or more products (UDC) at the same time, in the Automa case of multiple products is optimized path of the carriage. The system tells the operator the exact location (cell) where to place the product considering any preferential positions Handling various functions Under this heading are all functions of the product Automa, which then manage all the various movements (except those described in detail the procedure including shipping) for loading / unloading are made daily from stock. In the list we find: - Initial Load - Load various - Transfers - Discharge of various - Transfers from - Inventory

- Inventory rotation and other support functions such as: - Search UDC - UDC cell All operations generate warehouse s movements in Automa environment and are driven by causal handling (table) that determine whether the motion should be returned to the central system or not. The movements are driven more by the use of software Automa radio frequency terminals. 4. SHIPPING It s surely the most important part of product because we find all the logic and techniques for the preparation of the expedition. The general flow consists of the following steps: 1. Reception picking lists 2. travel training 3. Generation missions to pick 4. travel assignment 5. withdrawal 6. Preparation UDC Shipping 7. check Shipping 8. confirm delivery the explanation of each of these is delegated to the following paragraphs The receipt of picking list by Host The receipt of pick-lists from the host is automatically activated through a program time, which captures in a default directory (the activation time and the directories are environment variables defined in the Automa s configuration) all of the lists sent by the central system. The lists can then be sent to Automa whenever necessary to communicate to the warehouse orders for new consignments or changes in the preparation of orders previously passed Preparation The pick lists received are processed by Automa according to the following steps: - Travel Award list - Create missions for withdrawal Allocation list to trip: With this function you can group multiple customer orders in a single trip. This allows the warehouse manager to form the best method of shipping (trucks, rail cars, etc...) as a function of: - weights - volumes - Number of packages and / or pallets - destination - Priority

Create mission for withdrawal: In view of the trip format, are generated picking missions from stock and engaged products in their locations. During this phase, the system highlights any lack of product in stock (this is possible even if the central system already has the calculation of availability of the product in stock, because stock-based accounting and non-physical) Criteria for withdrawal of products The logic of withdrawal of products from stock is diversified depending on how the company establish the capability of shipping and depending on how the tasks are divided (divided into operational areas) of individual storekeepers. In fact you can get away trips in the manner: - For the picking list (customer order) - Article by grouping - Optimization of picking (training multireferenza pallets) - Optimization of the load (priority delivery) in all cases set out above, however, the system optimizes the paths of the trucks in order to reduce the time of sampling and shipping Assignment This procedure is used in the event that is the warehouse manager to decide who gets the pick of a missions trip. This is the procedure most commonly used; is still available in Automa the "automatic" assignment that consists to make available to all wheeled trips to be taken. On radio terminal can be selected (by the shopping cart) you want to book the trip and get started. Is possible to assign one or more trips to more trucks and this for reasons of: - Taking stock of products in different areas of expertise - Travel with large quantities of product and where, therefore, requires that a team of truck operators to deal - Speed up withdrawal For each trip is associated with its assigned area of prominence Withdrawal operation It is a fully automated procedural step in which the attendant to cart receives in succession on the display of the terminals the withdrawal missions to be made. The system indicates on the basis of optimization criteria mentioned above, in which location the product is to be taken and the required amount. The operator confirms the removal by reading the product barcode and the system shows the area where the spotlight should be worn. Is required reading barcode location for the area to confirm the tilt is done. In Automa is now possible also a function of sampling Pick & Pack (with immediate Picking Packaging) 5. FORE S AREAS System can be configured to one or more areas of prominence. Are the areas where are located the products withdrawn in the face of a journey and you must arrange the shipment. Usually in these areas are carrying out the functions of UDC preparation for shipment (film technology, training UDC multireferenza, weighing etc....) and it is therefore necessary to have the appropriate procedures for managing them. Automa provides the following functions: - Training UDC multireferenza - Connection with weighing scales for packaging lines

- Production neck packing list - Check shipping Preparation and training of UDC shipping Upon removal of products from stock you must, in the face of picking operations, forming the UDC for shipment. In fact you can manage: - Training packages - Training pallets this is the case of formation of UDC multireferenza. In this case Automa with its own functions is able to recognize how they are formed. This allows you to download the correct areas of the fore and, most importantly, to recognize the products and quantities during the final check of the shipment. Is available an Automa module for the management of any automated packaging lines with fixed or mobile bar code scanners and scales for weighing the packages The final check Is one of the most significant Automa functions because it allows quadrature to obtain products / quantity between the picking lists and receipts taken effective and ready for shipment. detects any differences between requested, taken, checked. Automa The amount of each line are checked by picking list are returned to the central system to allow the issuance of tax documents. Is available on Automa a form for printing packing lists of goods that can be used in case of arrest of the central system Management of packaging lines A specific form of packaging lines to handle, with the use of scanners, scales, automatic, automatic conveyors, sorters, etc.. is available as an option

6. STATISTICS AND REPORTS With the system are given a set of statistics and reports on the movements carried out and the status of the warehouse. The statistics are provided in tabular form and some in graphical form. All movements, even those elementary, are recorded in the historical movements. The data are therefore available, with export mode for any statistical outside, with tools such as Excel or other. Data Warehousing external tool is available as a product integrated to Automa. Automa 7. COMUNICATION WITH THE CORPORATE INFORMATION SYSTEM Communication between the Host and Automa happens with file exchange. It can be activated manually or can be completely automated. acquires from Host the following data: Automa registry items; plans for packaging; plans palletizing; lots; bubbles from the establishment; bubbles coming from the external goods; picking lists; any other. Host acquires from Automa the following data: confirmation of deposits; confirmation of the samples; adjustments to quantity; inventary; inventories. The technical specification of the exchange with the Host is defined in the analysis
