Mrs. Minnie Lee Carter was born December 13, 1946 to the late Mr. James Williams of Atkinson County and Mrs. Mouvine Davis of Coffee County. Reared by the late Henry B. Davis, Sr. (stepfather) of Coffee County. She departed this life on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at her home in Douglas, Georgia with her family. She attended public schools system in Douglas, Ga. She also completed Cosmetology school in Augusta, Ga. Over 36 years she labored with Douglas Foods, Flowers, Campbells, Dutch Quality and First United Methodist of Douglas. Earlier in life she became a member of Young s Chapel under the leadership of Rev. J.M. Aycox. She faithfully served in the choir for many years until her health began to fail. On March 2, 1978 she joined in holy matrimony to Tim Carter who preceded her in death. To this union Two handsome sons and a beautiful daughter were born.
