DESCRIPTION Lors du changement du PC sur une imprimante, le nouveau PC ne possède pas la licence de l operating system (SCO) puisqu elle est propre au client. Il est donc nécessaire, en premier lieu d installer cette licence, sans quoi le PC ne s initialisera pas correctement. Deux étapes sont nécessaires. Tout d abord, l installation puis l enregistrement de la licence. Il faut se munir du carton de licence SCO sur lequel figurent le license number (c est un code du type 3AA123456) et le license code. Il vous reste à suivre les instructions suivantes : LICENCE Démarrer le PC. Il se bloque à l initialisation de l imprimante. Ceci est normal. Taper : Ctrl Alt F1.(Passage en écran alphanumérique) Taper le login root puis le mot de passe mach. Un menu s affiche, choisir q (leave tools and login as root) Taper la commande suivante : scoadmin. Une fenêtre apparaît, se positionner à l aide des flèches sur Licence Manager et faire entrer. Se positionner sur Licence, faire entrer. Manager on pcname Product ( additional Product, Users) faire entrée. Please refer to the SCO Software Registration booklet for more information. La première étape est finie. ter le n SCO System ID se trouvant en bas de la fenêtre. Transmettre ce numéro et license number au Support International qui rendra en retour la clé d enregistrement. Pour sortir, taper Tab, puis se positionner sur, faire entrée. Choisir Exit. taper Tab, puis se positionner sur File, faire entrée Choisir Exit. De retour au prompt, taper reboot. Cette fois, l imprimante s initialise. ENREGISTREMENT Taper : Ctrl Alt F1.(Passage en écran alphanumérique) Taper le login root puis le mot de passe mach. DESCRIPTION When a printer PC is changed, the customer s operating system license (SCO) is not installed. It is necessary, first, to install the license, because without it, the PC can not start correctly. Two steps are necessary. First, installation, then registration. You need the SCO license certificate paper on which the license number (this is something like 3AA123456.) and the license code are written. w, follow the instructions : LICENSE Start the PC.
