DESCRIPTION: The Assistant Director of Community Homes assists the Lead Assistant Director of Community Homes in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Community Homes Program. The Assistant Director is responsible for the safety, supervision and physical needs of up to six assigned Community Home sites and participates in the hiring, supervising and training of program team members; directly responsible for intake of Community Homes youth.; assist program team members in the development, implementation and monitoring of treatment plans which meet the needs of the population served; to assure continuous program quality, and compliance with regulatory and licensing agencies. In cooperation with other program team members, and is responsible for the development of new and the revision of existing polices and procedures. POSITION: Professional Parent Three (3) positions STATUS: Full Time QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree preferred or High School Diploma required with at least two (2) years experience with high risk youth considered. This is a live-in position. A driver s license is not required.

DESCRIPTION: The Professional Parent is responsible for the care, supervision and in home treatment of the three (3) to four (4) youths placed in the Community Home for which the parent is responsible. The Professional Parent is also responsible for maintaining a clean, safe living environment which is conducive for the growth and development of the young people served and meets all state, local and agency requirements for health and safety. The professional parent coordinates and monitor the daily activities of the youth; provides daily counseling, skill teaching and positive reinforcement to each youth; follows designated procedures for critical incident reporting; encourages and support each youth s contacts and relationship with members of his/her natural family. DESCRIPTION: The Parent Supervisor is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of effective treatment and discharge plans for designated youths. DESCRIPTION: The Assistant Group Supervisor is responsible for providing academic, recreational, and service activities as directed by the OST Site Director. The Assistant Group leader assist in the implementation of daily activities under the guidance of the Site Director and the Group Supervisor; directs youth to scheduled activities; ensures that you are engaged in activities at all times; provides activities such as homework help; arts and crafts, sports, and project based learning projects; provides feedback to the Site Director on the status and quality of contracted activities. Position: Therapist Fee-for Service - Out-Patient Mental Health Services STATUS; Fee-for- Services QUALIFICATIONS: Master s Degree from accredited university in a clinical mental health discipline. Degree must include at least 12 credit hours of coursework in the foundations of behavioral health and the provision of mental health services. DESCRIPTION: The Therapist provides child-centered, family-focused individual and group psychotherapy with CVCA s Outpatient Mental Health Services Department. The Therapist is also responsible for creatively building client base, engaging the child and family, addressing defined problems, as specified in the treatment plan and utilizing strength based approaches to treatment. The Therapist will conduct intake sessions; administer screening tools; conduct child centered case consultation; design behavioral interventions in collaboration with the treatment team, education team and treatment tea; provide group, individual, and crisis intervention

services; identify service linkages and oversee coordination of services; implement components of behavior modification developed in conjunction with the treatment team; maintain record keeping and documentation procedures, including Progress Notes, Progress summaries on assigned cases according to program policies, procedures and regulatory criteria; participates in bi-weekly supervision. POSITION: Youth Care Worker-Group Home LOCATION: Norristown Neighborhood Center STATUS: Full Time; Part-Time; and Relief QUALIFICATIONS: A High School Diploma or a GED (General Educational Development)certificate and two (2) years experience working with children. DESCRIPTION: The Youth Care Worker is responsible for providing supervision of the Group Home Site and the youth placed at that site during his/her shift. In addition, the Youth Care Worker is also responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of activities and services which increase and enhance each assigned youth s life, social and emotional skills. POSITION: Therapeutic Support Services (BHS) and Behavioral Health Worker (STS) LOCATION: Behavioral Health Services, STS Services, and Norristown Neighborhood Centers STATUS: Fee-For-Service QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor s Degree in one of the following human services disciplines: Sociology, psychology, criminal justice, education, or other Human Service field, is preferred. If one of the above degrees is held, no work experience is required. Other Bachelor s degrees or a Registered Nurse require one (1) year, full time paid work experience with children and adolescents. An Associate s Degree or 60 college credits requires a minimum of three (3) years paid work experience with children. Must have a valid driver s license. Must have experience with BHRS, Magellan, CBH and familiarity with Montgomery County or Philadelphia County. DESCRIPTION: The TSS Clinician is responsible for providing therapeutic support and direction to an assigned youth. The TSS Clinician is also responsible for the implementation of specific aspects of the youth s treatment plan. The Clinician is additionally responsible for teaching and reinforcing pro-social, adaptive skills. TSS Clinicians provide services in the youth s school, home and/or other community settings. POSITION: Mobile Therapy (BHS) and Group Therapist (STS) LOCATION: Behavioral Health Services, STS Services, and Norristown Neighborhood Centers STATUS: Fee-For-Service QUALIFICATIONS: Master s Degree in a mental health field with at least one (1) year of post Master s Degree experience in a child and adolescent mental health or chemical dependency setting, child welfare or juvenile justice setting or educational setting. It is preferable that the Mobile Therapist be a licensed mental health professional. Must have a valid driver s license. Must have experience with BHRS, Magellan or CBH and familiarity with Montgomery County or Philadelphia County. DESCRIPTION: The Mobile Therapist provides child centered, family focused psychotherapy in a setting other than the therapist s or agency s office. The Mobile Therapist is also responsible for addressing defined problems, as specified in the treatment plan, utilizing a strength-based approach to treatment. The Mobile Therapist generally serves as the lead clinician and takes a leadership role in the development and implementation of the youth s treatment plan. POSITION: Behavioral Specialist (BHS)/Lead Clinician (STS) LOCATION: Behavioral Health Services, STS Services, and Norristown Neighborhood Centers STATUS: Fee-For-Service QUALIFICATIONS: Doctoral level licensed psychologist or Masters in a Mental Health discipline (MSW, Counseling, and/or Psychology) In order for a degree to count as a mental health degree, the degree must contain at least 12 credit hours in core behavioral coursework (i.e. individual, group and family therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, psychopathology, child development, personality theory, etc.) and at least three (3) years experience (2 years must be post Master s Degree) providing treatment in a child and adolescent Mental Health, child welfare, educational or juvenile justice setting is also required. Must possess specific training in behavior modification, preferably graduate level courses and have some experience applying behavior modification techniques. DESCRIPTION: The Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) designs and directs the implementation of a behavior plan which is individualized to meet the youth s mental health needs in accordance with the youth s treatment plan. The BSC provides instruction to other treatment team members regarding roles and responsibilities in the implementation of the behavior plan. DESCRIPTION: The CVCA is looking for a licensed Psychiatrist to prescribe, direct, or administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders; analyze and evaluate patient data or test findings to diagnose nature or extent of mental disorder; collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professional to discuss treatment plans and progress; counsel outpatients or other patients during office visits; advise or inform guardians, relatives, or significant others of patients conditions or treatment. DESCRIPTION: The CVCA Behavioral Health Services is looking for a licensed psychologist to conduct comprehensive Bio-psychosocial evaluations (CBE s) and comprehensive Biopsychosocial Re-evaluations (CBR s) for our behavioral health rehabilitation services (BHRS) and school therapeutic services (STS) programs.
