M.A. IN TESOL APPLICATION PACKAGE
LCC International University accepts applications for admission from students of all nationalities and religious backgrounds who are interested in studying in an international learning community. Due to LCC's mission and vision priority for admission is given to students from Eastern Europe and CIS countries. DEADLINE Early admission application deadline - January 30 Late admission application deadline - April 30 APPLICATION PROCESS 1. APPLICATION FORM Complete the application form and sign the statement of agreement with institutional policy. Each application is considered on an individual basis. 2. OTHER DOCUMENTS Submit any additional documents that you believe would support your eligibility for the M.A. in TESOL program. This could include academic or professional proof of your qualifications and/or achievements. 3. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE Submit a statement of purpose indicating why the M.A. in TESOL program at LCC International University is appropriate for your academic interests as well as academic and professional goals. 4. REFERENCES Submit two references from people familiar with your character, academic and professional background. Preferably, at least one of the references would come from a university you have graduated from. The reference forms should be submitted in an envelope with the referee's signature across the seal. 5. ENGLISH TESTS Present the recent scores of ibt TOEFL or IELTS tests. The minimum required scores are: Test ibt TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) IELTS (International English Language Testing System Required minimum score 100 Band 7.0-7.5 The language requirement may be waived for the following reasons: A. Your native language is English. B. You have graduated from a university, where English was the language of instruction. 6. TRANSCRIPTS Students applying for this program should hold an undergraduate degree in the area of English language studies. If you hold a degree in any other area, you should have at least 24 ECTS credits from English language studies (e.g. academic writing, linguistics, literary history and theory, language teaching, etc.) Submit transcripts of records including a list of all courses and grades. The documents should be in the original language, and in officially certified translation into English. Undergraduate GPA of at least 7 on a 10-point scale or equivalent is required. 7. APPLICATION FEE Transfer a non-refundable application fee of 100 LTL ( 30). Application files are scored according to the following criteria: English proficiency test result Other documents to support eligibility University grades Interview, application, motivational letter 10% 20% 30% 40% Depending on your total admissions score, the Committee will decide if you will be invited to attend LCC International University. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to LCC. You will receive a letter indicating either your acceptance to LCC International University or reasons why you are not accepted. TUITION FEES 6 ECTS credit course costs 300 EUR. Tuition for M.A. in TESOL program - 4,500 EUR / 90 credits. To guarantee your place in the program, the tuition fees for the first semester are to be paid by the 15th of May. QUESTIONS?
