Current VPN Market Scenario Current VPN market is dominated by multiple MPLS service providers providing last mile on terrestrial & wireless. The MPLS model is not cost effective when customer wants to connect 100s of sites with user base of 1-5 nos. Cost per Mbps of MPLS lines are very high. Feasibility becomes an issue on terrestrial. Wireless connectivity has issues like permissions for mounting the antennas & masts, and higher initial costs. Customer needs to depend on multiple Service providers to connect all the locations. Locations on different MPLS providers cannot communicate with each other. Additional infrastructure is required at the HQ for managing all of this. As applications are added on the customer network, connectivity becomes the key agenda for all IT managers Slide 3 of 15

Customer Requirements Cost effective solution to connect remote sites Low initial cost Fast deployment across the country Single point of contact for deployment and support High uptime commitment, backed by strong SLA Slide 4 of 15

Broadband as an Alternate Solution Leverage Internet as the least-expensive backbone network Lower cost, at much higher speeds than MPLS Very good reach, with fast deployment Very low initial cost VPNs setup over broadband for secure MPLS-like connectivity Significant opex and capex savings Managing large number of broadband connections is a huge task No uptime guarantees, no QoS Slide 5 of 15

Managed Broadband Service Strong partnership with multiple operators across the country Specialized in provisioning more locations than ISPs, who are limited by their network foot print Single independent resource for deployment & management of broadband VPNs Saves time, money and headaches for customer Facilitate smooth transition to Broadband VPN Slide 6 of 15

Advantage & Setup Reduced risk: De-risk migration by reducing complexity and providing expert support every step of the way Great Savings: Low Capex & Opex Flexibility: New sites are provisioned quickly and easily Improve productivity: Empowers users with secure, reliable high-speed access Time savings: manages the Broadband VPN Slide 7 of 15

Advantage & Set up Less hassles: Single bill known and limited opex per month Single Point-of-Contact: Eliminates the hassles and fingerpointing associated with coordinating and managing multiple carriers and equipment vendors NOC: 24*7*365 NOC support with proactive network management and Service Information Portal Additional Offerings: Remote IMS, Managed Security, Managed Video, Remote database management Slide 8 of 15

Rollout Plan Step 1: Strategy Development Feasibility study for every location Develop an enterprise-wide deployment strategy, addressing security and remote management Formulate enterprise security policy Step 2: Setup and configuration Pilot deployment for a few locations (with existing broadband) Install and configure end-point security at HQ and these locations Enable VPN access from locations to HQ Setup corporate security and remote access policies Enforce security policy at branch locations Configure reporting and Service Information Portal Roll out production implementation Step 3: Training Slide 9 of 15

Intelligent Reporting & Dashboards top apps Make networks more resilient Visibility into network usage Reserved bandwidth for critical applications Manage and provide IT support centrally Slide 10 of 15 Reduce Capex and Opex

Customer scenario: With Desktops and servers RIM HQ Internet VPN RIM NOC Enable failover options at critical locations Monitor and manage entire enterprise network RIM Branches RIM connectivity Customer dashboards Alerts (Email, SMS) Service Information Portal Customer Dashboards Enable alerts via SMS, email Slide 11 of 15

Deliverables Included Per Site Broadband Connectivity Data Transfer/Month : Unlimited (FUP Applicable) Dedicated HW Appliance Site to Site VPN (IPSEC) Basic Content & URL Filters ( White Listing) Centralized Billing to customer 24*7*365 NOC Support Centralized Call logging & Ticket Generation SNMP Based Proactive Monitoring Vendor agnostic Network Single Point of contact for National ISP Management Alerts ( SMS/Email) Slide 12 of 15

Summary Single point of contact for Implementation, Support & Billing for entire network State-of-the-art Managed Services at a very attractive price. Scalable & Future-Proof Network capable of handling multiple services & applications Vendor Agnostic Network Slide 13 of 15
