Research Interests My research to date has been concerned with the event-related potential correlates of visual categorization. Particular questions I have addressed include the role of response conflict in categorization of exemplars at various distances from category boundaries and the role of rule complexity in modulating early and late stages of individual category decisions. I am currently a post doctoral fellow at Vanderbilt University where I am using functional magnetic resonance imaging and behavioral experiments to investigate the effect of category learning on object perception and object representations in the visual system.
