2007 NAREIT leader in the light Recognizing Excellence in Energy efficiency NAREIT (National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts), in collaboration with ENERGY STAR, will honor its member companies that have demonstrated superior and sustained energy use practices. The NAREIT Leader in the Light award recognizes company-wide operations which generate substantially improved energy efficiency and expense management. All NAREIT members are encouraged to apply for a 2007 Leader in the Light award. To be considered, an organization must complete an online application by Friday, September 14, 2007. Winners will be recognized at the NAREIT Annual Convention, November 14-16, in Las Vegas, NV. Application Instructions Complete the application and submit via online, fax or by mail. Make sure to respond to the entire award criteria specified in the application. Provide specific information about your efforts in the most recent 12 months. While planned activities for 2007 or beyond are of interest to NAREIT, they should not be the focus of the award application.
