Industrial Design Product Development Rapid Prototypes 3D Mold Design Short Run Production Legacy Data Translation Paradigm Engineering, Inc. is built on a foundation of innovation. Our unique expertise is gained from hands-on experience throughout the development cycle. Paradigm Engineering is committed to quality, from concept to production. We set the bar high, design for manufacturability, and keep both development and manufacturing costs low. Our dedicated service and attention to detail has not gone unnoticed. Our clients include IBM, Intel, Johnson & Johnson, Motorola, Colgate Palmolive, Boeing, Dial and Microtest. Paradigm Engineering, Inc. was established in 1983, delivering a comprehensive range of product development, design, and engineering services to major corporations. We expanded to our current location in Queen Creek, Arizona, which includes office, prototyping and model shop facilities. Paradigm Engineering, Inc. is a privately held corporation. Let us put our experience behind your next program. Innovation From Concept to Production

With an attitude of innovation, Paradigm Engineering integrates industrial design, mechanical engineering, rapid prototyping, tooling and production support. What sets Paradigm Engineering apart is that we deliver more than just pictures. During the Ideation or Industrial Design phase, we provide unique concepts, designs, and methodologies that provide creative solutions to your design challenges. By application of proven strategies, we ensure that programs move quickly and seamlessly from the "glimmer of an idea", through the development process, and directly to market. We look forward to making your product ideas reality. Industrial Design Product Strategies Conceptual Sketches Complex 3D Surfacing Digital Imaging Computer Models Feasibility Assessments

Consumer Packaging and Closures Refrigerated Dispensing Paradigm Engineering offers a full range of product development and design services. Specializing in the development of plastic components and tooling, we are uniquely suited to provide cost-effective design solutions. Programs are completed using the latest CAE tools, including Pro/Engineer. From abstract beginnings, such as back of the envelope sketches or brainstorming sessions, to extensive industrial design presentations, conceptual designs evolve quickly from the glimmer of an idea. Cost effective designs are critical to success in every business environment. At Paradigm, we leverage our manufacturing expertise to ensure that the products we design move seamlessly to the manufacturing floor and ultimately, to market. Prototype from FDM, SLS & SLA Our Rapid Prototyping Center includes two Stratasys FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) machines and complete model shop facilities. FDM parts are produced from ABS plastic in a variety of colors, and from investment casting wax for foundry operations. Product Design, 3D Solid Modeling, and Rapid Prototyping go hand-in-hand. With on-site Rapid Prototyping capacity, Paradigm Engineering routinely delivers parts and assemblies within a few days after receipt of data files. Some parts can be delivered within 24 hours. Rapid Prototypes Paradigm Engineering is positioned to deliver high quality models and functional prototypes utilizing FDM, SLA or SLS. By creating mold components as solid models, CNC cutter path can be programmed directly from the resulting 3D geometry using Pro/Engineer. IGES surface and wire frame models can be exported for CNC cutter path generation from other software packages. 2-D references and detail drawings can be finalized in Pro/E or exported to a variety of other CAD packages. 3D Mold Design is a natural extension of part modeling. Paradigm Engineering delivers 3-D molds and individual component models of cores, cavities, slide faces, and EDM electrodes to mold makers for CNC programming. 3D Mold Design Paradigm Engineering offers extensive 3D mold design services ranging from individual components to full 3D mold assemblies. 3D Mold Design Core Cavity Models EDM Electrode Models Surface Models Mold Libraries IGES Conversions

Paradigm Engineering offers multiple cast parts from RTV Silicone molds in two part urethane and investment grade casting waxes. RTV tooling is a fast, cost effective alternative to injection molding for low volume production. Cast parts are also ideal as a bridge to production tooling. They are perfect for visual aids, trade show models, preproduction assembly line setups, photo shoots, multiple engineering prototypes, and functional product testing. Multiple parts can be delivered in as little as a few days. Production quantities can be from one part to thousands, in a variety of durable materials. Urethane castings produced from silicone molds accurately represent injection molded production parts in function, physical appearance and dimensional characteristics. Urethane material properties range from from shore A to shore D hardness, and with mechanical properties similar to injection grade thermoplastics. UL approved materials are also available. RTV tooling is a fraction of the cost of hard tooling, and allows freedom and flexibility in part geometry. Zero drafts, undercuts, snap features, irregular parting lines, and molded-in threaded inserts are easily accommodated. Short Run Production RTV Silicone Molds Cast Urethane Parts Investment Casting Wax Multiple Unit Quantities Highly Accurate Results Quick Deliveries Contract Manufacturing

Acquiring and implementing Pro/Engineer 3D modeling software offers many advantages, and some unique challenges. Legacy data accumulated over the years must be captured or converted before it can be used. Paradigm Engineering has successfully utilized Pro/E for many years. This expertise gives us the ability to quickly and accurately convert legacy information to parametric solid models.
