[ Issues and Challenges with the product Current Product Limitations and Challenges (As of May 2012?) Due to limitations on the types of WebI Reports on ipad, users will need to keep two sets of reports one for PC and one for ipad Limited Charts and Table Types for ipad reports. Remove these limitations. At least, provide charts that are in Explorer product. Once Rendered on ipad, users would like to interact, change visualizations (type of visualization and, store and share with other users (via BO Platform for security). Provide predefined components/templates on ipad for end user to visualize (similar to Dashboard design product) Users would like to have a binder/magazine capability on ipad to compile MoBI and Non-MoBI reports in a business binder to tell their story. 12
[ Issues and Challenges with the product Current Product Limitations and Challenges (As of May 2012) Users may benefit from an ipad version of BI Launch Pad to organize their content. Users need to understand special codes to format reports and charts. Remove coding (like ;SC) and integrate with formula editor to define and drop objects for table/data formatting (Example: Scorecard function) Minimize size/number of cell limitations; Allow color and layout management by end users. Keep up with dynamic ipad market for more frequent updates to the app (twice quarterly, for example) 13
