1. Introduction AMM Service UsUser Guide for Automated Modular Management Services AMM provides a number of services that are designed to manage environments. It offers discreet IT management components, which are automated and supported by IBM. You can use these components individually or as preconfigured bundles in a self-service model to manage your IT and application environments on SoftLayer. Using IBM Cloud Automated Modular Management for SAP HANA One service, you can provision SAP HANA one on SoftLayer that covers all SAP HANA functionalities. Copyright IBM Corp. 2015 Page 3 of 21
2. Purchasing IBM Cloud AMM SAP HANA One from IBM Cloud Marketplace To purchase IBM Cloud AMM for SAP HANA One from IBM Cloud Marketplace, perform the following steps: 1. In the address bar of your browser, enter https://marketplace.ibmcloud.com. Click Sign in 2. Click Sign in and enter your IBM WebID and password. 3. Click Sign in. 4. Search for SAP HANA. 5. 10. Select I agree to the Tersm of Use, Privacy and Refund policies and click Place Order. Note: In case you select hourly subscription, the cost will be initially zero. 3. Configuring IBM Cloud AMM for SAP HANA One Management Console When you or the IBM Sales team purchase the service, the hourly/monthly subscription, data center, and version are selected. To configure SAP HANA one management console set up, perform the following steps: 1. Log in to IBM Cloud Marketplace. 2. Go to My Services. 3. Click IBM Cloud Automated Modular Management for SAP HANA One. After the provisioning is complete, the status changes to Your service is running. Also, the Server Access Information is displayed. 4. Click Management Console URL to configure SAP HANA One service. Note: You can make a connection to the management console machine through PuTTY or any other SSH / SFTP connection software. Use the following information while making the connection to the machine: Address for host name Log in with the User name Authenticate using the Password Host name Log in as Password Copyright IBM Corp. 2015 Page 9 of 21

4. SAP HANA One Management Console From the SAP HANA One management console, you can perform the following tasks: Administration Backup & Recovery Addons Downloads 4.1 Administration In the administration section, you can perform the following tasks: View system information Start or stop SAP HANA database Reset passwords View system information Start or stop SAP HANA database Reset passwords Copyright IBM Corp. 2015 Page 14 of 21
To reset passwords, perform the following steps: 1. In the Reset passwords, enter the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. 2. From the drop-down list, select the item for which you want to reset the password. In this example, SYSTEM password is selected. 3. Enter the new SYSTEM user password and repeat the password to reconfirm. 4. Click Change SAP HANA database SYSTEM user password. The SAP HANA database restarts. 5. Diagnosing Problems From an end-user perspective, there are no commands or logs available for diagnosing problems in IBM Cloud Automated Modular Management for SAP HANA One. However, commands and logs are available for the support team. The IDs used in IBM Cloud Automated Modular Management for SAP HANA One are Access Key, Secret Access Key, User name, and Password.
