PROFILES AND BASELINES Profiles Home Profile = Performance Capability Homes of similar efficiency levels grouped together. Factors to consider when profiling: Age Location Size- bedroom count, sq footage Floor plan Other construction specifications Baseline Baseline = Avg. Resident Consumption Behavior Within a Profile group: Remove unoccupied homes Remove partial billing periods Remove top and bottom 10% outliers Calculate current average consumption Rolling Baseline - Calculated monthly to allow for weather patterns and other miscellaneous factors.
A LOOK AT LIVE BILLING STATEMENTS: REMIT, NO ACTION, REBATE Accrued Balance over $15.00 trigger = Remit Statement Invoices within threshold receive No Action Statement. Balance is accrued until balance exceeds upper or lower trigger points. Accrued Balance totaling less than -$15.00 = Rebate Check $15 Baseline (-$15) Balfour Beatty Communities pays your utility usage up to the BASELINE out of your BAH. If your usage is more, then you pay only the difference. If you are under, your account is credited with the difference.
WHAT HAS CHANGED? YES is the billing provider generating your statements. There is a new statement design. Refund checks are mailed within 7 business days of the billing. There is a new Resident Portal. Payments may be made on-line via Portal, over the phone and by mail to YES. Left hand side contains: Customer service contact details Portal website Remit to address Community Name Resident ID and registration code Main body lists: Meter information Utilities invoiced Baseline and dollar charges / credits Legend stating if there is an amount to pay, nothing to pay, or a refund check is due.
