Aug 1977 - Dec 1978 Springfield Housing Authority, Springfield, MA Outreach Worker Contact person to over sixty families, in two low-income housing projects. Worked with single parents and problem families. Developed educational programs: weekly alcohol programs, teen rap groups and tax help. Implemented the Owl Adult Educational Program and was instrumental in the vandalized recreation center being rebuilt and reopened. Became an advocate and functioned in a Big Brother capacity to several boys.
