The fish must be kept alive in suitable containers.. PROTECTED FISHING AREAS In controlled areas fishing is only allowed from the shore and with one rod only. Permits are valid only for fishing from the shore. Boat fishing is permitted only to a restricted number of members. LAKE SEGRINO The farm Gorla managed by Enrico Massironi owns an exclusive fishing right for lake Segrino. To fish here you need the license type D and the permission granted by the manager. Permits can be bought at the newsstand Cupidi in via Mazzini in Canzo and cost 10 (daily), Euro 50.00 (annual for residents in Longone al Segrino, Canzo and Eupilio), Euro 100.00 (annual for residents in other towns). Trout from 26 September to 20 December RIVERS Fishing in the rivers is allowed from a hour before sunrise on the last Sunday of February until one hour after sunset on the first Sunday of October only on Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Saturday, April 25th, May 1st, June 2nd and August 15th.
