Kakheti Region Kakheti is a region formed in eastern Georgia from the historical province of Kakheti. Capital city Telavi. Neighbors Kakheti is bordered by the Russian Federation to the Northeast, Azerbaijan to the Southeast, and the Georgian regions of Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Kvemo Kartli to the west.
Telavi Telavi is the main city and administrative center of Georgia's eastern province of Kakheti. Its population consists of some 21,800 inhabitants (as of the year 2011). The city is located on foothills of Tsiv-Gombori Range at 500 800 meters above the sea level.

Kvareli Kvareli is a town in northeastern in Kakheti Province, Georgia. Located in the Alazani Valley, near the foothills of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, it was the birthplace of Georgian author Ilia Chavchavadze, whose fortified house is preserved as a local museum. The area is in the center of the Kakheti wine-producing region, and the town itself is known for its Kindzmarauli wine, a semisweet red variety.
Lagodekhi Lagodekhi municipality lies in the heart of Georgian wine country. Lagodekhi is renowned for its natural beauty, nearby waterfalls and most notably the Lagodekhi Nature Reserve, established in 1911 and first noted by Polish botanist Ludwik Młokosiewicz, for having a large variety of tree species. Three kilometers east of the town is the border crossing with Azerbaijan's Balakan Province.
GURJAANI Gurjaani is a town in Georgia, located in the region of Kakheti and serving as the center of the Gurjaani district. Gurjaani is situated in the Alazani Valley, 415 m above sea level, and 110 km east of the nation's capital Tbilisi. As of the 2011 census, its population was approximately 10,000. The town is one of the centers of Georgia's wine industry. Landmarks include the Church of the Dormition (Kvelatsminda; 8th-9th century), Museum of Local Lore and History, and Museum of Nato Vachnadze. The historic mud-cure resort of Akhtala is not far from Gurjaani.

Dedoplis Tskaro Dedoplis Tskaro, (Queen`s spring") is a town in Kakheti, Georgia with the population of 7,724 (2012 Georgia census). The town is located in the Shiraki Lowlands, eastern Georgia, and functions as a municipality of the district of the same name.
Sighnaghi Sighnaghi is a town in Georgia's easternmost region of Kakheti and the administrative center of the Sighnaghi District. It is one of the country's smallest towns with a population of 2,146 as of the 20012 census. The town and its environs are also known for their landscapes and historical monuments. Sighnaghi has recently undergone a fundamental reconstruction program and has become an important center of Georgia's tourist industry.
Sagarejo Sagarejo is a town in Kakheti, Georgia. It is situated 58 kilometers east of Georgia s capital, Tbilisi, and has the population of 12,600 (2012 census). It serves as an administrative center of the Sagarejo district.the town is traditionally considered a chief settlement of the Gare-Kakheti area (Outer Kakheti). The settlement is first mentioned in written records in the 11th century under the name of Tvali, literally meaning "an eye". Later, it came to be known as Sagarejo, i.e., "of Gareja", indicating that the area was owned by the David Gareja monastery It acquired the town s status in 1962.
