The 8 principles During training, you will dive deeper into our 8 principles to ensure real implementation Reducing complexity We reduce complexity of the project by thinking in a process-oriented way from start to finish and by working in short sprints. Process-oriented blueprint The blueprint comprises the relevant processes, which can then be used directly in development and testing. Impact case and benefit tracking The processes create the business impact. Based on the processes, we develop an impact case describing the business impact that the project should achieve. We carry out systematic benefit tracking and document the impact for the management. Short sprints and fast learning We work in short sprints, so that all functional teams work on the same business process at the same time. In this way, we achieve good coordination across ERP modules and a focused effort. The short sprints also ensure that we can quickly test solutions and get business acceptance. PROCESS MAPPING BLUEPRINT REALISATION Process mapping and definition of impact case. The business contributes to ensure the right processes and management to ensure the requested impact. Process-oriented blueprint provides focus on the business processes that the system must support. The business must contribute to select the processes and their format. Breaking down the development of short sprints ensures that the project participants work on the same processes simultaneously. Defining project structure and impact case. Developing processoriented blueprint. Developing process sprints. 6
Front loading in all phases During all phases, we ensure that the complete solution is well thought-out and planned, before we dive into the work. The complete solution covers the desired impact, IT, software, organisation, work flows, roles, change management and training. Business simulation Business simulation is a simulated go live. Front loading at this stage is particularly important, as it is better to experience problems in a simulation than after go live. Involvement of the right people During the entire process, we consciously evaluate who should be involved when and how. At all levels, we work with visual methods in planning and test facilitation. Selection of implementation strategy The project management s effort, risk profile and resource requirements are decided by the chosen strategy. FINAL PREPARATION GO LIVE OPERATION Business simulation is a simulated go live, visualising the future solution for employees and management. This creates an understanding of the future situation. Business change managers for each site ensure commitment to the operating situation. There is insight into the solution and acceptance of the strategy that ensure efficient execution. Focus on selected benefits. The involvement of the business change managers ensures follow-up on the agreed benefits. Benefit tracking is part of the management tools in the new operation. Business simulation and visual test facilitation. Determining implementation strategy. Benefit tracking. Implement Consulting Group 7
