ANZ Credit Card Rewards Programme Terms and Conditions Participation 1. The ANZ Credit Card Rewards Programme is open to Principal Cardmembers of the ANZ Signature Priority Banking Credit Card, ANZ Platinum Credit Card and ANZ Switch Platinum Credit Card, or such other credit cards issued by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (the Bank ). 2. Rewards Points earned by Supplementary Cardmembers will be credited to the Card Account of the Principal Cardmember and may only be used by the Principal Cardmember for the redemption of Rewards. 3. During the continuation of the ANZ Credit Card Rewards Programme, the Cardmember will be awarded 1 Rewards Point for every S$5.00 (or equivalent foreign currency) charged to the Cardmember s relevant Card Account for retail purchases of goods and services. The Bank reserves the right to change at any time, the ratio between (a) the number of Rewards Points to be awarded; and (b) the specified amount charged to the Card Account. 4. Rewards points accumulated on the ANZ Platinum Card and ANZ Switch Platinum Card will be valid only during the respective 5-year period in which such Points were earned, beginning from the date the Principal Cardmember is entitled to participate in the Programme and with such subsequent periods running successively thereafter. 5. Rewards Points accumulated on the ANZ Signature Priority Banking Credit Card will expire within the first 5 years from the date they are awarded. From the 6 th year onwards and thereafter, a Cardmember s Rewards Points shall be valid for 1 year only. 6. At the end of the 5th year and thereafter, the validity of the ANZ Signature Priority Banking Credit Card s expiring Rewards Points may be extended for 1 year if the Cardmember has met a minimum retail spend of S$50,000 in the last 12 months from the date of expiry. 7. If the Principal Cardmember s Card Account is terminated at any time for any reason, either by the Principal Cardmember or the Bank, the Principal Cardmember and Supplementary Cardmember(s) will forthwith be disqualified from participating in the Rewards Programme and all unused Rewards Points then accrued shall automatically be cancelled. At the point of Card Account closure, outstanding Rewards Points owing to the Bank will be debited to the Principal Cardmember s Card Account at a rate of 1 Rewards Point = S$0.05, and the Principal Cardmember shall be liable to make immediate payment. 8. If a Supplementary Card is terminated at any time for any reason, the Principal Cardmember will not be disqualified from participating in this Programme. Accumulation of Rewards Points 1. Charges which are eligible for Rewards Points are: retail purchase charges made to the ANZ Signature Priority Banking Credit Card, ANZ Platinum Card and ANZ Switch Platinum Card. Charges not eligible for Rewards Points include, but are not limited to, cash advances, loan on card, finance charges, late payment charges, balance transfer, interest-free instalment payment plan and other unauthorised charges which the Bank may add to, or remove from, the above list of eligible charges and transactions from time to time at its sole discretion 1

without prior notice to Cardmembers. The Bank s decision as to what constitutes an eligible charge shall be final and conclusive. 2. Card Transaction reversals including but not limited to refunds/chargebacks reflected on the Card billing statements will reduce or eliminate the number of Rewards Points available for redemption. Should there be any subsequent Card Transaction reversals, resulting in Rewards Points owing to the Bank, the Bank reserves the right to charge the Cardmember and debit the Card Account for any negative Rewards Points balance in the Card Account at a rate of 1 Rewards Point = S$0.05. 3. The Rewards Points awarded to Cardmembers will be shown in their monthly statements. 4. With effect from 1 June 2014, Rewards Points accumulated under the Card Account may be automatically deducted to offset Cardmember s ANZ Credit Card annual fee when the annual fee is due. Sufficient Rewards Points must be set aside if Cardmember would like to use the Rewards Points to apply for waiver of the annual fee. 5. Rewards Points accumulated under the Card Account will be (i) forfeited and/or (ii) will not be awarded when Cardmember s Card Account is closed or is not in good standing in the opinion of the Bank, or Cardmember s Card has expired or ceased to be effective or a breach of the Cardmember Agreement has occurred. In such event, any outstanding redemption request whether received before or after Cardmember s Rewards Points have been forfeited shall not be processed. Redemption of Rewards Points 1. Only Rewards Points accumulated up to or shown in the latest issued monthly statement or such other date as may be determined by the Bank at its discretion will be redeemable. 2. Only those Cardmembers whose Card Accounts are valid and in good standing are eligible to redeem the Rewards Points. 3. Provided that the Card Account is in good standing as determined by the Bank, a Principal Cardmember may select and redeem any one or more Rewards, based on the qualifying Rewards Points specified in the Programme, during the Programme period, via such redemption channel as the Bank may from time to time inform the Cardmember. The Cardmember agrees that the use of any channel and any of this Programme s unique features will be governed by its applicable terms and conditions. 4. Rewards Points earned by a Supplementary Cardmember will be credited to the Card Account of the Principal Cardmember and may be used only by the Principal Cardmember for redemption of Rewards. 5. All redemption/purchase requests are subject to the accumulation of sufficient Rewards Points, credit limit and stock availability. If the Account does not contain sufficient Rewards Points or credit limit required for the redemption or purchase of a Reward, then the application for redemption of that Reward will be automatically declined. 6. Upon acceptance of a redemption request, the Rewards Points or amount to be used for redemption/purchase shall be deducted from the Account immediately. All redemption/purchase requests submitted by the Cardmember are irrevocable. 7. Rewards Vouchers or notification letters will be issued by surface mail to the Principal Cardmember s correspondence address within approximately 14 working days from receipt of redemption request. 2

8. No instruction by the Cardmember regarding the use of Rewards Points can be altered, reversed, or cancelled once the Rewards Voucher is issued. Rewards Vouchers once issued are not refundable, nor exchangeable for cash, Rewards Points, or for any other Reward. 9. Should there be any subsequent transaction reversals, resulting in Rewards Points being owed to the Bank, the Bank reserves the right to charge the Cardmember the prevailing market value of the Reward, or any price deemed suitable by the Bank, and the amount will be charged to the Card Account. 10. The Bank shall not be liable for lost/damaged/stolen/expired Rewards Vouchers. However, under exceptional circumstances and at the Cardmember s written request, the Bank may (but is not obliged to), in its sole discretion, re-issue a lost/damaged/stolen/expired voucher, or exchange a Rewards Voucher for another, upon the Cardmember s production of the original Rewards Voucher. In the event the Bank agrees to such a request, the Bank reserves the right to impose an administrative charge for the replacement or exchange of any Rewards Voucher. Use of Rewards Voucher 1. A Rewards Voucher shall be issued in the name and address of the Principal Cardmember, and shall specify the Reward as selected by the Cardmember, and may be used by the Principal Cardmember or any Supplementary Cardmember. 2. To redeem a Reward, the Cardmember must present the relevant Rewards Voucher with his/her Card at the relevant participating merchant. If the Cardmember makes a purchase which exceeds the value of the Rewards Voucher, the balance payment must be made with the Card. There shall be no refund for any unused value of the Rewards Voucher. 3. Redemption of a Reward is subject to availability and to such conditions as may be specified by the participating merchants. In the event that a participating merchant is, for any reason, unable to supply the goods or services as specified in the Rewards Voucher, the participating merchant reserves the right to supply alternative products or services of similar quality or price to the Cardmember. 4. Rewards Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash. 5. All hotel stays are subject to availability of rooms. Reservations must be guaranteed by an ANZ Credit Card. No walk-ins will be entertained and the hotels reserve the right to impose a one-night room charge for late cancellations and no-shows. 6. Merchant terms and conditions apply. Mileage Redemption Programme 1. If the Principal Cardmember participates in the Mileage Redemption Programme, the provisions of this section shall apply. 2. Participation in the Mileage Redemption Programme is also subject to the terms and conditions of the respective participating airlines frequent flyer programmes. 3. This programme enables the Principal Cardmember to convert their Rewards Points to miles ( Miles ) under a participating airline s frequent flyer programme. 4. To participate in the Mileage Redemption Programme, Cardmembers must first enrol in a participating airline s frequent flyer programme. 3

5. A Principal Cardmember who is enrolled in the Mileage Redemption Programme can convert Rewards Points to Miles at the conversion rate of 1 Rewards Point for 2 Miles, or such other rate as the Bank may specify from time to time. 6. All Miles redeemed by the Principal Cardmember must be credited to the appropriate frequent flyer membership account, and be in blocks of 2000 Miles, subject to a minimum of 2000 Miles per conversion. 7. Each conversion of Rewards Points to Miles is subject to a S$15 conversion fee (or such other fee as determined by the Bank). 8. Once redemption of Miles has been accepted by the Bank, the request cannot be cancelled, reversed, transferred to another participating airline s frequent flyer programme, or exchanged for cash, credit, services or other items. 9. Should there be any subsequent Card Transaction reversals, resulting in Rewards Points being owed to the Bank, the Bank reserves the right to charge the Cardmember the prevailing market value of the Miles redeemed, or any price deemed suitable by the Bank, and the amount will be charged to the Card Account. 10. Notwithstanding Clause 9 of this section, the Bank is entitled at its discretion, to recover any Miles credited into Cardmember s frequent flyer membership account, where applicable, should there be any subsequent Card Transaction reversals, resulting in Rewards Points being owed to the Bank. 11. Cardmembers understand and agree that the transfer process will take approximately 21 working days. Notwithstanding anything stated herein, the Bank shall not be liable for any delay in the transfer process for any reason whatsoever (including without limitation, delay due to incorrect information in the system or due to system constraints and errors). No urgent requests or cancellations will be entertained. 12. The Principal Cardmember will not receive any redemption voucher or confirmation from the Bank regarding the conversion to Miles. The Cardmember may call the respective airline s frequent flyer programme for an update of accumulated Miles. 13. The Bank shall not be responsible for any fraudulent, irregular or unsuccessful transfer. The Cardmember s Rewards Points may be reinstated to his Card Account, where appropriate. 14. The Bank shall not be responsible for the Cardmember s Miles which have been successfully transferred or for the actions of the participating airlines in connection with but not limited to the frequent flyer programme. 15. The Principal Cardmember is responsible for providing the correct and valid frequent flyer membership account number bearing his own name. 16. The participating airlines in the Mileage Redemption Programme are subject to change without prior notice. Rewards Points Transfer Programme 1. Only Principal Cardmembers are eligible for the Rewards Points Transfer Programme. 2. The Principal Cardmember may only transfer accumulated Rewards Points to a designated Principal Cardmember of the same credit card type, e.g. an ANZ Principal Platinum Cardmember can only transfer his/her Rewards Points to another ANZ Principal Platinum Cardmember. 4

3. The transfer of Rewards Points can only be made by the transferor completing the Rewards Points Transfer Form. The Cardmember may nominate up to 2 designated principal credit card numbers per request form. 4. Any transfer request must be made in multiple of 250 Rewards Points. 5. An additional 100 Rewards Points will be deducted for successful points transfer to each transferee. 6. Transfer of expired or extended Rewards Points is not allowed. 7. The total number of points requested for the transfer and the additional deduction of 100 Rewards Points for effecting the transfer must not exceed the number of points existing within the transferor s Rewards Points balance. No negative balance is allowed under this programme. 8. Requests can only be processed upon receipt of the signed transfer form. Please allow approximately 14 days for the processing of requests. 9. Only the transferor will receive a notification of the points transfer upon the successful processing of the points transfer request. Redeem Anything Programme 1. Only Principal Cardmembers are eligible for the Redeem Anything programme. 2. Only eligible retail purchases posted in Cardmember s latest statement are allowed for redemption under this programme, subject to available Rewards Points. 3. Only the full amount of the transaction can be redeemed. No partial redemptions are allowed. 4. A confirmation letter will be sent to the Cardmember upon his/her successful redemption. 5. Please allow approximately 14 days for the processing of requests. 6. All items redeemed under this programme are NOT exchangeable or refundable under any circumstances. 29-30 General 1. All Rewards featured in this ANZ Credit Card Rewards Programme Catalogue 2015/2016 are valid for redemption/purchase until 30 June 2016. 2. All Rewards Vouchers issued by the Bank are valid for 3 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified. No extensions of Vouchers will be entertained. 3. The Bank is entitled in its reasonable discretion, at any time and from time to time, to withdraw, vary or substitute any Reward. 4. The Bank may at any time vary, modify or amend these terms and conditions as it may, in its reasonable discretion, deem fit, and the Cardmember shall be bound by such variations and amendments. 5. The Cardmember hereby authorises the Bank to disclose information regarding the Cardmember and the Cardmember s Card Account(s) to third parties for the purpose of the ANZ Credit Card Rewards Programme. 5

6. The Bank is not liable if it is unable to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions due directly or indirectly to the failure of any machine or communication system, industrial dispute, war, Act of God, or anything outside the control of the Bank or its employees or agents. 7. The Bank s records of all matters relating to this programme are conclusive and binding on the Cardmember. The Bank is entitled, for any reason and at any time, without liability or prior notice, to suspend the calculation or accrual of Rewards Points, to rectify any errors in the calculation, or otherwise adjust such calculation. 8. The Bank is not an agent of any merchant. 9. The Bank will not be responsible for or liable to Cardmembers for any loss or inconvenience caused in the event that participating outlets close down or are not open for the day. 10. The Bank shall not in any way be liable for any goods or services or the quality or performance of such goods or services supplied by any participating merchant, site or service provider or other authorized agent under the ANZ Credit Card Rewards Programme. The Cardmember should seek redress and direct any complaints or comments in respect of such goods and services to the respective participating merchant, provider or agent. 11. The Bank shall not be liable to Cardmembers for any loss, cost or damages of any kind resulting from the use of the privileges offered. 12. Fraud and abuse relating to the earning of Rewards Points, redemption/purchase request or use of any Rewards Voucher may result in forfeiture of any accumulated Rewards Points, Rewards Voucher issued as well as the cancellation of the relevant Card Account. 13. In case of dispute, the Bank reserves the right to decide on the eligibility of all such redemption/purchase requests. The Bank s decision on all matters and disputes concerning the Rewards Programme shall be final. 14. Without prejudice to any of the Bank s rights and remedies, the Bank is entitled to, at any time, in its reasonable discretion, terminate the Programme, amend these Terms and Conditions and/or withdraw, cancel or invalidate any Reward and/or Rewards Points already issued. 15. These terms shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the Cardmember hereby submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. A person who is not a party to these terms shall have no right under the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these terms. 16. References here shall have the same meaning as in the Cardmember s Agreement. 17. All information is correct as of 01 July 2015 6
