ACADEMIC PROGRAMS The know-how of the Fundación Claves de Arte Since its inception, the Fundación Claves de Arte has pursued its mission to become a leading educator for studies in the art market, and thereby fill a gap existing in higher education in Spain. To that end, we offer innovative programs that combine the intellectual virtues of academic knowledge with the indispensable skills for the business environment. In our commitment to excellence, reflected in the high degree of experience and professionalism of our faculty, our goal is to educate and provide our students with all of the knowledge, tools and resources they will need to grow as professionals who contribute to society by opening up new areas and opportunities in the art world. Over the last century, as the visual image has become increasingly influential in our society, the boundaries of art have greatly expanded and art itself has taken on a much greater role in so many areas of human activity. Financial prosperity and the rise of new technologies have helped generate greater interest in art, which in turn has brought about new, thought-provoking theories on the art market and its unique characteristics, now more universal than before with the disappearance of many barriers in our globalized world. Fully convinced that art is also a powerful tool for social integration, the Fundación Claves de Arte strives to engage the more disadvantaged sectors of our society with programs that help these groups develop through art and through the values that have traditionally been associated with it, but which are no less essential to human dignity and the free development of the self. The support we receive from respected individuals and entities in the academic, artistic and social spheres strengthens our faith in our objectives and is itself the essence of our success.
