4 Dates for Submitting Applications Dates for submitting applications. Applications will be accepted from January until 10 July. Requirements 35 students, with the possibility of offering two groups. Admission is open to candidates that: (1) (a) hold a graduate or equivalent degree that grants access to postgraduate studies and during which the student has obtained a minimum of 180 ECTS credits devoted to subjects of a legal nature, or (b) are enrolled in the second or third year of a Juris Doctor programme in a Law School in the United States; (2) have an academic record with an average grade of (7.0) merit pass or above; except when waived due to the motivation and progression of the candidate; and (c) have a sufficient command of English, in particular, as regards legal questions. Student Profile This program is designed for law students and lawyers interested in developing an advanced knowledge of European business law. Classes are taught by lawyers from top European and U.S. law firms and cover topics such as tax law, trade law, and M & A. Program This is an intensive 4 week program on European business law. Classes are given fully in English. No Spanish is required. In addition to law classes, students have the opportunity to take 4 weeks of Spanish language classes. Students will also visit cultural and legal institutions, and have an optional 5th week to visit Brussels (at an additional cost).
