a. Education History: indicate how many years of formal mandatory schooling you have completed in your home country before accessing university level, e.g. Italy has 13 years from primary to High School, whereas other countries may have less, 11 or 12 years. b. High School info: this section is required if you are applying for a graduate program but you have had less than 12 years of mandatory schooling. c. College University 1: please, fill in with the information regarding the most recent College / University you have attended, and where you have completed or are in the process of completing your degree. Complete the information about College University 2 if you have transferred at any time during your undergraduate degree, or list here your undergraduate school if you have completed a previous graduate degree (listed under College University 1). d. Make sure you upload for each school or university you have attended a transcript of records and copy of your diploma/degree if available. If it is not available yet, you can leave this blank and email your documentation once ready to international.inquiry@unicatt.it once you have this. If applying for an English-taught program you must provide any English Proficiency test result you might have. If you have not yet obtained a certificate, please provide the scheduled test date. If you are native speaker of English or have had English as a medium of instruction at secondary or tertiary education level, please insert N/A in the test date section. b. Current year courses: if you have not yet graduated and your transcript is incomplete, you may indicate here the courses you are currently taking. Please answer the following two questions and then the ones related to your Master s Program choice. 1) Explain your main motivations for applying to this Master. What are your expectations about it? 2) Which are your professional goals? Which sector are you mainly interested in? Relations (MIR) 3) Provide a definition of International Relations 4) According to you, which are the five main topics of the current international agenda? Justify each of them. 5) Research statement: make a research proposal, approximately 500 words in length, which details the problem, hypothesis or question that you would like to examine during the Master course. Cooperation and Development (MIC&D) 3) Explain with your words what International Cooperation for Development means, providing a practical example 4) Identify a difficult aspect of your everyday life. How do you usually face it? 5) Report a situation in which you witnessed an episode of injustice. Did you react? How and why? J. Submission of Application: Upon submission of your application you will receive an email acknowledging the successful process. If you are required to pay an application fee (see admission guidelines for details) you will receive a link to which you can process your online payment of the application fee. Note: if a 75 fee is applicable, your application will not be reviewed until confirmed receipt of your payment. K. Supplemental Materials: a) Language certificates: when available, please make sure you submit the original English language report. In the case of TOEFL, please provide the TOEFL test Centre with the UCSC TOEFL code and request a copy to be sent to our office (address below). b) Recommendation Letters: For applications to all 1 year Masters: provide at least one academic letter of recommendation (you may submit a second reference, which could be from an employer if the work experience is relevant to the field of study). This letter can be uploaded in the online application form or can be emailed from your referee to international.inquiry@unicatt.it or can be sent in a signed and sealed envelope to the address below: UCSC International Via Carducci 28/30 20127 Milan c) Transcripts: these are currently accepted in Italian, English or Spanish. If you need to translate the documents and you require a visa, we advise you to translate the documents in Italian as this will be required by the Italian Consulate/Embassy at the pre enrolment stage.

For questions regarding this, email international.inquiry@unicatt.it Upon submission of your application, you will receive an e-mail of acknowledgement of receipt. You will receive follow up e-mails should supplemental materials be missing upon review, however you should expect to get a confirmation of admission or conditional admission no later than 4 6 weeks from the deadline by which the application is received. Uploading files electronically is the best way to ensure that turn-over time is respected. STEP 2: Confirmation of Participation Admitted students will receive communication on their application outcome via email. Students admitted to a Specializing Master will receive payment instructions to pay the deposit of EUR 500 to confirm their participation. Students who apply after the third deadline will be asked to pay the deposit and the first installment (it may vary according to the chosen program) with a single payment.
