CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK All clinical agencies have the right to deny student placement in clinical Each agency differs in what they deem acceptable, so there is no standardization. Students are informed, based on their background check, whether or not clinical placement is an option.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT PROGRAM Medical assistants are employed in a variety of health care settings, primarily ambulatory care. PRACTICAL NURSING PROGRAM The PN Program prepares students with the skills essential to providing basic nursing care in a variety of settings. The PN works under the supervision of an RN. Students are able to take their LPN licensure exam after completing the first year of the nursing program.

RADIOGRAPHY PROGRAM Prepares students for a career in diagnostic radiology (x-rays) as a radiographer. The Radiography Program is a shared program with Lakeshore Technical College (LTC).
RADIOGRAPHY PROGRAM 70 credit Associate Degree Fully accredited program Graduates are eligible to take the entry-level certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
RADIOGRAPHY PROGRAM Program is presented using interactive television (ITV) to distant sites, where students will also have both their lab instruction and clinical experience. There will be day, evening, weekend and summer clinical experiences. Students work with Nicolet advisor but apply directly to Lakeshore Technical College (host program)

SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST The surgical technologist is an integral member of the health care team. Surg Tech provides patient care before, during, and after surgery, having primary responsibilities for maintaining sterile field and handling surgical instruments to the surgeon.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN The pharmacy technician provides assistance to the pharmacist in a variety of technical tasks involving the packaging, distribution, compounding, labeling and recording or drugs. The Pharmacy Technician program trains students for the roles of supportive personnel for hospital and community pharmacies.
