4/6 Ordering number Ordering number for the Manual is 3HAC043509-001 Changes in Cutting This section describes the changes that have been made in Cutting since Cutting PowerPac 5.15. Improvements/Corrections of Cutting Fix the bug of trial license In Cutting PowerPac 5.15, the specified folder for trial license file may be incorrectly parsed by Robot Studio, therefore the Cutting PowerPac can not be activated. This bug will be fixed in Cutting. Re-enable the Load Default Program function In Cutting PowerPac 5.15, the Load Default Program function had become useless because there had no user program modules. And this behaviour has been modified in Cutting PowerPac 5.15.00.01, which has added default user program modules. However it will bring one limitation which will be described in the Remaining Limitations section. Enable user choose to delete rapid datas of wrong type in the startup process If the user wants to change one station from General Cutting to Laser Cutting or vice versa, there maybe have some rapid datas in the old station become to wrong or unproper type in the new station. The Cutting will provide a messagebox to allow the user whether delete these wrong or unproper typed rapid datas in the startup process if they were existed in the station. Remaining Limitations of Cutting 1) Cutting PowerPac can not support RobotStudio 5.15 64bit edition.
5/6 2) For 2D shape feature cutting instructions, only directly specified shape parameters are applied for the data validation. The other cutting process parameters, such as LeadParam, CutParam, etc., are not applied for the data validation in Cutting PowerPac in this release, but they will be applied for the data validation in the RW Cutting. 3) When creating a 3D (free form) path, the prompted total point number of this path in the creating dialog may be not equal to the number of result nodes displayed in the PathView window. 4) After clicking Load Default Program button in Cutting page, all program moduels will be shown twice in the browser tree in RAPID page. Changes in Cutting PowerPac 5.15 This section describes the changes that have been made in Cutting PowerPac 5.15 since Cutting PowerPac 5.14.03. New Features of Cutting PowerPac 5.15 Add relationship between Vector of cutting instructions and RCS of corresponding target points 1) Initial RCS value is from Vector (X axis is same as vector X). 2) If the user modifies the Vector, the RCS should be modified also, but the robtarget ToPoint must not be changed. 3) During preview and synchronize to VC, the value of Vector must be updated according to the RCS. Help manual of Cutting PowerPac is changed to the CHM Improvements/Corrections of Cutting PowerPac 5.15 Resolved the display exception when one path has too large nodes to display in the PathView window.
