Mayet Online Reports Welcome Welcome to Mayet Online Reports. The Pembina Trails School Division Mayet Online Reports allows divisional teaching staff and administrators from K-12 the flexibility of accessing the report card system form any computer with internet access whether it be at school or at home. The new system is feature filled so please feel free to look through the step by step instructions listed below on how to use Mayet Online Reports. Logging In -open Internet Explorer - In the address bar type: http://reportcards.pembinatrails.ca - hit Enter on your keyboard - enter your Mayet user name and password in the allocated fields - Click Login (note: your session will time out if you have not saved within 30 mins.) - The My Report Cards screen will open. 1

My Home Room The My Homeroom section will take you to, you guessed it: your home room. In the homeroom section you can view a list of all the students in your homeroom class. You can organize your list by student name, student ID, gender, phone number, birth date, grade, home room, school and program. To do this simply click on the column heading. To edit any student s report card click Edit Report Card aligned with there name. The student s report card will then appear on your screen. (Note: The list of all students in your homeroom will remain on the left hand side of your screen for easy navigation to other student s reports.) To edit citizenship/teamwork or personal management click the downward elevator button next to the outcome and click your selection from the dropdown menu that appears. 2

To enter a General Comment (home room comment) click the General Comment tab located near the bottom of your screen. You can enter a comment by: typing directly into the allocated field copying and pasting out of word selecting out of your comment library (to access your comment library click the button or any combination of the options listed above When you are done entering click How to select a comment from your comment library: In the student subject comment area click In the window that appears scroll through your comments and click the one you want to select it. Note: your comments are organized into the folders you had previously created. Also when you click on a comment a preview of the complete comment will appear in the area just above your insert button. Once you have confirmed that the comment in your preview is the one you want click insert 3

How to work in other subject areas: To work on any other subject for the selected student simply click the tab that corresponds with that subject. To edit the outcomes click the downward elevator button click your selection from the dropdown menu that appears. next to the outcome and (Note: when you have completed entering data for a subject area the asterisk on the subject tab will disappear) (Note: when you see a students name in orange it means the student has been withdrawn from school. You will still be able to complete a report card for this student if required) My Timetable The My Timetable and the My Teachers section are very much the same (unless you are a school administrator in wich case you will see all your teachers in the My Teachers section). In My Timetable you can click on either the course name, section or room to get to that area. Bsaically anything that is blue and underlined is a link to that area. 4

For example if we click ART3 then we will see a list of all students in ART3. From that list of students we can enter there learning outcomes and comments. If you wish to return to the My Timetable section click the top and bottom of the page for your convenience. button located at the (Note: when at the list page in My Timetable click under functions and you will get the Edit course/section comment option. Click it. From the window that appears you can enter a comment that will show in the entire course/section. And if you wish you can check off the selection to copy this comment to all sections in this course. Bulk Mark Entry and Bulk Comment Entry From the you can also open class list (marks) to bulk enter marks or open class list (comments) to bulk enter comments. This can be a big time saver. My Teachers The My Teachers section will show you the same information as you re My Timetable section, so there is really no need to go into this area unless you are a school administrator in wich case the My Teachers sections would allow you to see all the teachers records in your school. Manage Report Cards In manage report cards click user comment library to work with your personal comment bank. From here you can view, edit, add and delete comments in your comment library. 5

Adding a folder: To add a folder click. In the window that appears enter a folder name into the allocated field and click save. Folders provide a way to keep you organized. You may want a folder for each subject area for example. Adding a comment: - To add a comment click. - From the folder dropdown select which folder you wish to store this comment in. - In the shortcut filed give your comment a shortcut name. This is equivalent to your labels in the old system. - In the comment field type your comment. Note: you can use any of the automatic pronouns listed on the right hand side by simply double clicking the one you wish to enter into the comment field. - Click spell check to check you re spelling. - Check off which terms this comment is applicable. - When you are done click save. Editing a comment: - Select your comment from your list by clicking the little circle in front of it. - To edit that comment click - Your comment will open ready for editing. - Make your changes and click save. Deleting a comment: - Select your comment from your list by clicking the little circle in front of it. - To delete a comment click 6

Logout When you are done working with your reports always remember to hit the button located at the top of the page.
