МВА Problems According to the administrators, alumni and representatives of the business education there are following problems in MBA programs: Low quality selection of МВА students; High prices and lack of financial affordability; Presence of "surrogate" programs; The gaps between expectations of the audience and the actual results. 16
Problematic issues 1. The gap between the needs of business education and its regulatory provision. The law "On education", Article 22: "The professional training programs of postgraduate education are aimed at the training of scientific and highly qualified pedagogical personnel, consistent improvement of their scientific and educational training." MBA and DBA programs are equated to an academic Master's degree programs and PhD. 17
Problematic issues 1. The gap between the needs of business education and its regulatory provision. State Educational Standards of post-graduate education state that doctorate training is carried out only as full-time tuition on the basis of the government order." Funding for training specialists for business at the expense of the state budget is inexpedient. Students of the program are mostly top managers and business owners, they should not be limited only to training full-time, i.e. being discontinued. 18
Problematic issues Lack of strategy of business education in Kazakhstan; The lack of qualified teachers, practitioners and educators who teach in the Kazakh and English languages; Programs lack the practical component - the lack of Kazakhstani cases-studies. 19
Suggestions Regulatory support of business education needs to be aligned with business needs. Academic requirements may result in rejection of business from the domestic business education. It is expedient to allocate to MBA and DBA an additional line in post-graduate education. 20
Suggestions To increase the efficiency, quality and qualifications of teaching staff; To train personnel to teach in business schools, use the opportunities of international scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Bolashak"; To improve the scientific and research potential of teaching staff; To ensure the relevance of business education, regularly change the program due to the changes in market conditions; To develop the IT-technologies and innovations in education. 21
