Account Authorization Limits Introduction to Account Authorization Limits Account authorization limits can be set to control where drivers can purchase fuel. Purchases can be limited by blocking/allowing purchases based on: Specific state It is possible to block and allow purchases for specific states. For example, one can allow purchases in Texas and Louisiana only, but block all purchases in the New York, U.S. Virgin Islands and Hawaii. Specific ZIP code For example, one can block all purchases in Boston-area ZIP codes, but allow purchases in Texas-area ZIP codes. Merchant location For example, one can block all purchases for a specific Pep Boys station in downtown Houston, but allow Pep Boys purchases in the other Texas locations. Type of sale For example, one can block all purchases at C-Stores but allow purchases through the Crin at the fuel dispenser., By setting these controls, fraud can be reduced and the Fleet Manager can gain greater overall program control, including supporting preferred supplier relationships.
