PROGRAMMING CHIP SERVICING BIOS TUNING HOUSEHOLDS SERVICING PROGRAMMER Willem PRO 2 ZIF VERSION WILLEM PRO 2 ONLY INTELLIGENT PROGRAMMING

1 What is Willem PRO 2? What is Willem PRO 2? WILLEM is the most popular programmer available on the market. This programmer can be successfully used for: RTV services, BIOS updates in computer services, repairs of computer boards (damaged by failed BIOS updates) and also in situations where programming of memory or microprocessor is required. The programmer is built on two-sided laminate with metal-plated openings, solder mask complete with description of components. -To supply the programmer, a power supply feeder cable with 12V direct current voltage is recommended. -Finished device is to be connected to PC. -Connection between programmer and PC is secured by LPT cable (complete with all conductors). -Programming is performed with a Willem programmer control software recorded on a CD. --This device is able to read (feed into a PC), delete (erase from the system) or record (re-programme anew) individual memory according to user's requirements.

Copy entire "willem" catalogue to C drive 5.) Unpack "port.zip" file (port zip file is an automatically unpacking archive and does not require extra programme such as WINRAR or WINZIP) 6.) Enter "User_Port" catalogue. Copy "UserPorts.sys" file to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers catalogue (Fig. 1.4)

Installation of software 7.Open "User_Port" catalogue. Start "UserPort.exe". Set the parameters as shown on Fig. 1.5 8.Open "willem" catalogue. Unpack "sterownik.zip" file. (sterownik.zip file is an automatically unpacking archive and does not require extra programme such as WINRAR or WINZIP) 9.Enter the newly unpacked catalogue "sterownik" and start "EPROMM51.exe"programme. (See: Fig. 1.6)

5 Programmer test Programmer test 1.Upon activating, set the following items: a.pcb3 b.lpt Printer Port on to LPT1 (0x378) a b 2.) If the port has been found correctly, the yellow and green LED lights on the programmer will switch off. 3.) To ensure that the programmer has been connected properly, choose from "Help" bookmark "Test Hardware" option

4.) If all connections are correct, the status bar will display message "Hardware present". Programmer test

6 Programming Programming 1.) To start programming individual system, you have to choose it from the list In case a system identical with yours cannot be found, choose another that complies most with your system 2.)To correct the memory installation with the selected type in programme, use "Electronic ID" option

Programming 3.) To programme FLASH memory with a file, choose "File => Load" from upper menu or the open folder icon from the bar, and then find and indicate the file. lub 4.) If all operations have been run correctly, the programme status bar will display message "Binary File Loaded OK". 5.) From upper menu choose bookmark "Action => Program/Rest RAM". In case "VPP RANGE ERROR" message is displayed, change the adapter VPP configuration jumper 6.) Once the above procedure has been completed, the window will open showing the progress in programming. The yellow and green LED light and FWH/LPC adapter LED light on the programmer will switch on.

Programming 7.) If programming has been run properly, "Device Programmed OK" message will appear, informing about the compliance of the programmed system with the selected file. FWH/LPC adapter LED light and LED lights (yellow and green) will switch off. Programming of the system has been completed.

7 Erasing Erasing 1.) To erase individual system, choose items "Action => Erase 28/29/49/89/90/PIC" from the menu.. 2.) The widow will open showing a percentage progress in erasing of the system and the yellow and green LED lights and FWH/LPC adapter LED light will switch on. 3.The system has been deleted correctly if the programme status bar displays the message "Erase completed".
