Only open to students who applied for and were selected for this clinic or externship. Clinics and externships are no-drop limited enrollment courses. Students are not permitted to drop the course at any time after the last day of the fall, spring or summer registration period. Clinics and externships are exempt from the upper class grading curve. Students must register for 6 credits. Note B: This is a year-long clinic. Students must enroll for 6 credits in the Fall and 6 credits in the Spring. Note C: This is a semester long clinic for 3 credits. Students who have not previously taken a clinic or externship will be given priority in registration over students who have previously enrolled in a clinic or externship. Note Cc: Students will earn 3 credits over two semesters. Students may register for 1 credit in the Fall and 2 credits in the Spring, or 2 credits in the Fall and 1 credit in the Spring. Course may not be dropped after the first five days of the Fall semester. Note D: Only open to students who have completed the basic clinic course in this specialty area. Enrollment is at the discretion of faculty member and is very limited. Variable credits between 1 and 4, as determined by faculty instructor before start of the semester. Note E: 2 hours fall, 2 hours spring; must enroll both semesters; will receive grade at end of each semester. Must also enroll in two credit graded externship placement seminar class. Required to work 8 hours/week to receive two additional placement credits and 12 hours/week to receive three additional placement credits. Students interested in enrolling in this class should submit to the PAIA Department (215 Eggers Hall) a resume and a brief 500 word statement describing 1)why you are interested in enrolling in this class; 2) what you hope to get out of the class, and 3)career objectives. Students should submit statement and resume by April 14. Note J: All associate Moot Court Board Members must register for this course. Fall course sections are open to Moot Court Students only. Note K: Students may register for 2 additional independent research credits to satisfy the College of Law Writing Requirement. Note M: Meets every other week for 160 minutes. Enrollment limited to 5 Jessup Team Members (2 credits) and 2-3 Alternates (1 credit). Note N: LL.M elective. Meets with LAW 814 and LAW 815 for 3 credits for Fall semester and 3 credits for spring semester for a total of 6 credits. Will receive grade at the end of academic year.
