Development of the Doctoral Programme: Project Number: 540117-LLP-1-2013-1-DE-ERASMUS-EQMC The consortium will develop a joint European research and PhD programme in ALE which leads to a mutual degree at EQF level 8 (joint or double degree); this programme will at the same time be a complement to the existing EMAE programme; this programme has to be redesigned due to 1) the findings of the needs analysis, 2) the experiences in the running in the last decade and 3) the linkage to the research and doctorate programme. Together, the EMAE and the new PhD programme will provide an integrated qualification in ALE offer covering EQF levels 7 and 8.
Development of the Doctoral Programme: Project Number: 540117-LLP-1-2013-1-DE-ERASMUS-EQMC
Further Tasks in the Development of the Doctoral Programme: Because of a definition of the PhD. Course in Adult Education: Recognise the state of art regarding the PhD Course in the Partner and in other Universities: Type of Curriculum (formal/non formal), Target Group, Methodology Because of the core component of Doctoral training is the advancement of knowledge through original research, at the same time it is recognised that doctoral training must meet the needs of an employment market, beyond the Academy (Bologna Seminar, 2005): Define the most important indicators for the needs of the employment market and the link of real employability Because the Doctorate School has the task to identify pathways of innovation and quality of HE, the definition of theoretical models and methodologies for research training, with particular reference to paths designed to meet challenges, to include appropriate professional career development opportunities. Compare the Ph.D Curricula with corresponding to the indicators
ESREALE Products for the Doctoral Programme: 1) a manual for comparative research in ALE (2014); 2) a manual for researching in the European context (2015); and 3) the preparation of manual on empirical research in adult education (2016).
