BIOGRAPHY www.doctorjulie.com 512-850-6963 julie@liveithealth.com Dr. Julie Reardon is an integrative family medicine physician with more than 14 years of primary care and leadership experience, as well as five years of clinical experience in a mental health setting. "Dr. Julie" as her patients call her, has demonstrated a special interest in empowering individuals to advocate for their own health. She is also passionate about assisting other physicians with wellness and career satisfaction. Her three-phase approach to this work is centered on establishing greater connection with their patients, serving the heartfelt mission of the Healer within, and offering clinical solutions to system-wide change in the medical profession. After receiving her degree in Psychology from Harvard University, she completed her medical training at The University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She is a Fellow of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine (AZCIM), having completed the groundbreaking program of Dr. Andrew Weil. While at PeaceHealth Medical Group in Longview, Washington, Dr. Reardon developed a highly successful program to facilitate medication refills for chronic pain patients. She was also Physician Lead for the Access Project, which provided better access to primary care in the region. As a result of that project s innovations the group restructured the outpatient primary care team, hired more medical assistants and nurses, and improved flow of care. Additionally Dr. Reardon was instrumental in instituting a collaborative process called the Care Team Huddle. She and her medical assistant became a model for other providers and co-developed an informational video on the process. She also co-developed and implemented a Physician Compact between clinicians and administrators to improve effectiveness of care. Dr, Reardon recently acted as a primary care provider in New Zealand where her focus was on the Maori population, including work in palliative care, geriatrics, pediatric care and women's health. Dr. Reardon currently treats patients in an innovative, patient-focused private practice in Austin, Texas. She utilizes the treasures of modern science combined with common sense wisdom and the best of complementary and holistic practices.
