06 1. Language and Culture Courses A1.1 Beginner A1.2 Beginner High This course is aimed at students with no previous knowledge of Spanish. At the end of the course, students will be able to introduce themselves and others and to communicate in a basic manner about some of their personal aspects. This course is aimed at beginner students with some basic knowledge of Spanish. At the end of the course, students will be able to communicate about personal life, using and understanding frequently used expressions to satisfy basic immediate needs. A2.1 Intermediate Low A2.2 Intermediate Low-Mid This course is directed to students with basic communication skills in Spanish. At the end of the course, the student will be able to describe in a simple manner some aspects of their past experiences and to use and understand expressions relevant to their personal experiences. This course is directed to students able to carry out some simple tasks in Spanish. At the end of the course, the student will be able to improve their ability to describe some aspects of their past experiences and to increase their capacity to use and understand phrases and expressions that are particularly relevant to their personal life.

07 B1.1 Intermediate Mid B1.2 Intermediate Mid-High This course is aimed at students who are able to communicate, with some detail, aspects about their personal experiences. At the end of the course, the student will be able to function in everyday situations and to produce simple and coherent texts about their personal interests and experiences. This course is aimed at students who are able to interact describing their personal experiences and interests in a simple but coherent manner. At the end of the course, the student will be able to function in familiar situations, both at work and in leisure contexts and to produce coherent texts and describe in detail aspects of their experiences and life events. B1.3 Intermediate High B2.1 Advanced Low This course is directed to students with the ability to describe in detail aspects of their life, both in formal and informal situations. At the end of the course, the student will be able to describe events, experiences, wishes and aspirations as well as to briefly justify their opinions and explain their plans. This course is directed to students able to communicate their plans and to briefly justify their opinions. At the end of the course, the student will be able to communicate with native speakers in a manner that requires a little effort from either part. They will be able to produce and understand texts on various topics, as well as to defend their point of view on a specific subject. B2.2 Advanced Low-Mid B2.3 Advanced Mid This course is aimed at students who can communicate in a fluent and natural manner with native speakers requiring little effort from interlocutors. At the end of the course, the student will be able to communicate effortlessly with native speakers and to produce and understand clear and detailed texts on a variety of subjects. They will also be able to provide arguments to defend their point of view on a particular topic. This course is aimed at students who can communicate with native speakers on a variety of subjects. At the end of the course, the student will be able to discuss fluently and naturally with native speakers and to produce detailed and complex texts on a variety of subjects. They will also be able to defend their view point providing details on the advantages and disadvantages of the different options.

08 C1.1 Advanced Mid-High C1.2 Advanced High This course is directed to students who are able to communicate effortlessly with native speakers defending their view points by providing details on the pros and cons of the different options. At the end of the course, the student will be able to communicate without showing much effort in finding the appropriate expression for a given context. They will also be able to produce and understand long and complex texts on a variety of subjects. This course is directed to students capable of communicating without showing much effort in finding the appropriate expression for a given context. At the end of the course, the student will be able to make a flexible and effective use of language for social, academic and professional purposes. They will also be capable of producing and understanding long and complex discourses, both orally and in writing. C2.1 Proficient C2.2 Proficient High This course is aimed at students with the capacity to produce long and complex discourses, both orally and in writing, in social, academic and professional contexts. At the end of the course, the student will be able understand practically everything they read or hear and to express themselves spontaneously, with a great level of precision. They will also develop long, coherent texts using the appropriate vocabulary and expressions required by the context. This course is aimed at students who can produce and understand complex discourses spontaneously, using the appropriate vocabulary and expressions required by the context. At the end of the course, the student will be able to communicate with fluidity and precision and to understand discourses that would allow them to distinguish even subtle nuances in meaning. 09 2. Spanish for Specific Purposes We offer our experience in curriculum design to provide courses tailored to meet your or your company s particular needs. Our staff will teach you specific vocabulary, grammatical constructions and expressions that are relevant to your field. We are also conscious of differences in cultures and we will teach you how to communicate, both verbally and non-verbally, with your Spanish and/or Latin- American counterparts. We adapt to your needs, so we let you decide the amount of hours you need (minimum 10 hours). Available at our School or at your desired location. Prices may vary depending on the course. A typical 10 hour course for 6 students would cost 150 per student. Some examples of the areas we cover are: Spanish for Business. Spanish for the Health and Pharmaceutical sector. Spanish for the Energy sector. Spanish for the Telecommunication sector. 3. Conversation Our enthusiastic teaching staff combines funny role plays with discussions on the latest Spanish, Catalonian, Latin-American issues and current world affairs to make sure you practise your oral skills to the maximum. Available at beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. 4 hours a week. Starting every Monday. Price per week: 75. Small groups (minimum 3, maximum of 6).

10 4. Individual lessons In addition to our courses, an unlimited amount of individual lessons can be booked to target your specific needs. Whether you d like to improve your listening, speaking, writing or reading comprehension skills, our qualified teaching staff can help you in our one-to-one lessons. Individual lessons should be booked at least 2 days in advance. 1 lesson: 50 minutes. Price: 25. 10 or more lessons: Price 20 per lesson.

11 5. Language Level Testing Our School is an Official DELE and BULATS examination centre. The DELE (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) are internationally recognized official qualifications with permanent validity. They enjoy great prestige not only among public and private educational institutions and authorities, but also in the business world and chambers of commerce. The DELE Diplomas follow the European Framework of Reference for Languages (A1-C2). The BULATS (Business Language Testing Service) are a fast, flexible and affordable way to get accurate certification of workplace language skills. BULATS are internationally recognized and have been prepared by the University of Cambridge (English), The Goethe Institute (German), The Alliance Française (French) and Universidad de Salamanca (Spanish). You can take the test at any time and obtain scores that assess your language skills separately. You do not have to chose a level, the test has been designed to assess your level. DELE tests Dates: 5 times a year 17th April / 22nd May / 17th July / 16th October and 20th November 2015 Prices: A1: 105 A2: 120 B1: 150 B2: 180 C1: 190 C2: 199 BULATS tests The test can be taken at any time. 12 6. Exam preparation Our School can help you prepare for the official DELE and BULATS Spanish language tests. We offer courses designed to get you acquainted with the DELE and BULATS exam sections and formats, and prepare you to reach your test goals. We also offer online courses to prepare the English, French and German BULATS exams. You can take our level test to decide which course would suit you best. We offer level specific courses from A1 (Beginner) to C2 (Proficient High). Our teaching staff will help you practise your communication skills in a realistic manner while constantly assessing your ability to tackle each section of the chosen test. DELE preparation Courses Price: 400 Duration: 4 weeks prior to the exam. Hours a week: 10 hours a week. 2 hours a day from Monday to Friday 6 pm to 8 pm (a total 40 hours). BULATS preparation Courses Price: 200 euros Duration: 2 weeks Hours a week: 10 hours a week 7. Airport + Accommodation We offer assistance finding different lodging options from staying in a private room with a family to sharing an apartment with other students. We are a family and LGTB friendly school. Upon request, we can find lodging that suits your specific needs. Prices start at: 30 per person per night and are subject to availability. Whether you are into kite surfing or exquisite dining (or both!), you will find that has something for everyone s taste and budget. How about a weekend in Ibiza or a wine tasting event? How about a bike tour or a visit to Gaudi s architectural marvels? Some of the activities are organized by the School, but we also keep updated on the latest concerts, soccer matches at Barça s Camp Nou, Flamenco shows, art exhibitions and other events happening in.
