FIRST STEP A LONG AND SUCCESSFUL HISTORY In 1975 the Ultrasun 1500 was the first facial system produced. These were exported worldwide and helped to build up our reputation for manufacturing solid and reliable equipment. Something that we are still known for to this day. Ultrasun International was founded by Willem Fabels in 1974 in a small factory in Enschede Holland. It was the start of a real success story. As the oldest manufacturer of professional tanning equipment, Ultrasun has been a leading supplier for 40 years. 1975 8 ultrasun

By 1984 Ultrasun Germany was founded with a new production facility just over the Dutch/German border. In 1986 the Ultrasun 20.000 Turbo broke all conventions by being the first tanning system with only high pressure lamps. In 2002 to meet customers demand we moved to our new 5-storey HQ in Hengelo. In 2003 Ultrasun Germany was built as a 82,000ft production factory in Salzbergen, Germany. 1987 In 2008 we welcomed Original Dr. Muller to the Ultrasun Group and saw the introduction of our Collagenic range. In 1987 Sunfit Lighting joined the Ultrasun family. In 2014 we celebrate 40 years by introducing our new vision: In 1991 a tanning revolution took place with the introduction of the ScannerTanner 6000 by Ultrasun. DR MULLER AND THE SCIENCE OF COLLAGEN Collagen is a human protein made by cells in the dermis layer of our skin. Collagen and elastin support our skin and are responsible for its tightness, elasticity and suppleness. Research proves that during the aging process, especially after the age of 30 our skin s ability to produce the collagen protein slows down. This leads to the appearance of lines and fine wrinkles. BUT THERE IS AN ANSWER. Pure, red light stimulates our body s own natural processes to form new collagen and elastin. The best type of red light is found at a wavelength of 633 nanometres. It reaches the deepest layer of our skin, transporting energy to the cells to stimulate our body to produce collagen.
