Main Features Yale University unique, challenging program reserved to DES/ESS and CLEFIN/FINANCE students one year abroad attendance to Ph.D. in Economics courses up to 2 slots, final decision made by the host school
Requirements Enrollment in the 1st year of the DES/ESS or CLEFIN/FINANCE MSc. Program Undergraduate degree with a minimum grade of 108/110 GRE with a minimum i score on the Quantitative section of 160 or GMAT with a minimum total score of 680 TOEFL minimum score of 100 or IELTS Academic minimum score of 7.0 (last TOEFL test accepted: 24 Jan 2015; IELTS: 31 Jan 2015)

Compatibility with Exchange Program Students applying for the Advanced Economics Exchange Program can also apply for regular Exchange Program. If selected for the AEEP, they will be automatically excluded from the Exchange Program.
Compatibility with Double Degree Programs DES/ESS SS students already selected for the Double Degree Program may also apply for this program (but not for the Exchange Program). If selected for the AEEP, they will be automatically excluded from the Double Degree Program. CLEFIN/FINANCE students who applied for the Double Degree Program may also apply for this program (and also for the Exchange Program). If selected for the AEEP, they will be automatically excluded from the Double Degree Program and the Exchange Program.
Study Plan 1 st year, at Bocconi: Early languages and compulsory internship (moved from 2 nd year to 1 st year) for DES/ESS and CLEFIN/FINANCE students 2 nd year, at Yale: -For DES/ESS students: up to max two 1 st year electives courses*, postponed; p -For CLEFIN/FINANCE students: up to max two 1 st year compulsory courses, postponed; *The elective course taken at Bocconi should belong to one of the three groups of courses A, B, and C, with a preference for a choice within C so that the chance of having problems with the completion of the plan of studies be minimized later on. Indeed, it may be more difficult to find a course at Yale that can later be converted as a Group C course.
Study Plan The study plan has to be in any case approved by your Degree Program Director, or his delegate, before leaving.
Compatibility with Louvain Double Degree study plan Please note: DES/ESS students already selected for the Double Degree at Louvain will have to substitute the Research paper (2 credits) with an elective course from list A, B or C (6 credits), in order to fulfill the requirements of the Advanced Economics Exchange Program study plan.
Compatibility with Merit Awards General rule to confirm the scholarship during the 2 nd year: gain at least 50 credits by August 10, 2015 with an average minimum grade of 27/30. Exceptions could only be evaluated for internship and languages (not in case of withdrawal for internship offered by Bocconi offices).
