Safety first If you suffer a breakdown on a motorway/dua carriageway in the UK: If possibe try to pu over to the hard shouder, as far eft or as far away from the carriageway as possibe; Switch on your hazard warning ights; If you can t get to the hard shouder ony eave your vehice if you can safey get cear of the carriageway; Don t attempt to pace any warning device on the carriageway; Leave a beongings, uggage and pets in the vehice; Stand behind a barrier or up an embankment if there is one, to the rear of the vehice; Once cear of the vehice, keep we cear of the carriageway at a times and do not attempt to go back to your vehice. If you suffer a breakdown on a road other than on a motorway/dua carriageway in the UK: If possibe try to pu over as far eft or as far away from the carriageway as possibe; Switch on your hazard warning ights; If you can t get your vehice cear of the carriageway ony eave your vehice if you can do so safey. If you cannot safey exit the vehice and decide to stay in the vehice keep your seatbet on at a times; If your vehice does make it off the carriageway you shoud exit the vehice as safey as possibe by exiting on the eft hand side. Aways stand to the rear of the vehice. When our breakdown professiona arrives: They wi do everything they can to get you on your way but pease remember they are ony authorised to provide the service you have paid for and agreed with us; They wi ask you to pay for any parts and we are not responsibe for costs you arrange without our authorisation; When they have deat with your breakdown they may ask you to sign an advice note. They return this to us so we can monitor our service standards. 4

Definitions Wherever these definitions appear in this document of breakdown cover, they wi have the same meaning. Breakdown professiona Breakdown Home address Motorai Passengers Schedue Spouse/partner Trip UK market vaue UK residents Vehice We, us, our You, your and the poicyhoder Your representative a trained, professiona motor mechanic/recovery driver or speciaist professiona service provider. the vehice is incapabe of operation as a whoe because of mechanica or eectrica faiure, theft or attempted theft, vandaism, accidenta damage, a fat tyre, a ack of fue or incorrect fueing during the period of cover. Faiure of any parts of the vehice to function e.g. an indicator, headight, windscreen wiper or convertibe roof does not constitute a breakdown uness the faiure causes the vehice to be incapabe of operating as a whoe or is ikey to resut in the driver being prosecuted for using a defective vehice. The cover cannot be used as an aternative to reguar servicing or maintenance or as a way to avoid paying for repairs. your permanent residence we have on record at the time of a breakdown as suppied by you. a specific European Rai Service for transporting vehices across Europe. Motorai services do not incude Channe Tunne rai services. occupants of the vehice (excuding hitch hikers). forms part of your contract with us and incudes the period of cover, name of the poicyhoder and your eve of breakdown cover. spouse, partner or civi partner residing at the same residentia address. a pre booked continuous journey to the countries as specified within the geographica imits of Section G which begins and ends in the UK within the poicy period. The maximum amount of time you can spend abroad in tota is 180 days during the poicy period. the vaue for the reevant make and mode as specified in Gass s Guide or a recognised equivaent. mainand UK, Northern Ireand and Channe Isand residents. any mechanicay propeed vehice, registered in the UK, that requires insurance for use on the pubic highway as specified under the Road Traffic Act 1988 and does not exceed any of the foowing dimensions when fuy oaded: - Caravans and traiers - 8 metres in ength (incuding A-frame). - Motorhomes - 8 metres in ength or 7.5 tonnes in weight. - A other vehices - 7 metres in ength, 2.3 metres in width, 3 metres in height or 3.5 tonnes in weight. A vehices must aso meet the criteria specified in Section B - Vehices. Liverpoo Victoria Insurance Company Limited, and where the context dictates, Liverpoo Victoria Insurance Company Limited trading as Britannia Rescue. the poicyhoder and where the context dictates any person who is traveing in and who requests assistance for the vehice that is registered with us. anyone acting with or on your authority. 5

Section A Introduction to Breakdown Cover Pease be aware that if you hod a Nationwide FexPus Account you may aready have breakdown cover. You wi need to consider whether you may be paying for dupicate cover. This poicy is for residents of the United Kingdom (UK), the Channe Isands and the Ise of Man and entites you to our vehice breakdown and recovery assistance within the UK, the Channe Isands, the Ise of Man and the Repubic of Ireand. For European breakdown and recovery assistance see Section G (UK & European Assist). We have set out the eves of cover which we provide in Sections C to H. Important Information about your cover We wi protect you against the cost of vehice breakdown and recovery assistance within the poicy period for which you pay a premium. Uness you give us a future start date your cover begins the day after you purchased the cover. Where it is not safe to repair a faut at the roadside (for exampe on a motorway), we wi take your vehice to a safe ocation to carry out repairs. A costs reating to parts and abour remain your responsibiity uness covered or agreed by us. We cannot guarantee that a repacement vehice wi be avaiabe. We wi not pay for any extra charges reating to specific needs of a repacement vehice such as tow bars or roof racks; these requirements are subject to avaiabiity. You must meet the terms and conditions of the hire car company which incude having a vaid driving icence, meeting the minimum age set by the hire car company and being in possession of a vaid credit card. Hire cars may not be taken out of the country without the permission of the hire car company. Our breakdown and recovery assistance does not extend to hire cars provided under this poicy. If you have purchased the appropriate eve of cover, we wi ony provide hep at your home address if your vehice is incapabe of operation due to a breakdown. For hep provided at your home address, our breakdown professiona wi try to repair the faut. If they can t do this, we wi take the vehice immediatey to a oca pace of repair but you wi have to pay for any repairs. If you do not accept immediate recovery, you wi have to pay for any further hep for the same faut. Recovery cannot be used as a way of avoiding repair costs. This service cannot be used if the vehice has aready broken down or was not in a roadworthy condition when cover was taken out. If you have purchased vehice based cover, this poicy covers one permanenty named vehice. If you have purchased Persona Cover (see Section H), you wi be covered in any vehice in which you are the driver or a non-paying passenger, provided the vehice is within the UK geographica imits at the time of the breakdown. Moving to a ower eve of cover is not permitted during the poicy period except within 14 days of receiving your documents. After this period reducing your eve of cover can ony be appied at renewa. However you can increase your eve of cover, add or remove a vehice or Persona Cover at any time, except when the increase of cover or addition of Persona Cover is at the point of a potentia caim. Dupicate Cover If you have an existing breakdown poicy that gives the same cover esewhere, you need to consider whether you may be paying for dupicate cover. 6

What happens if we can t meet our iabiities? If we can t meet our iabiities, you may be abe to caim from the Financia Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). There are different eves of compensation, depending on what kind of insurance you have: compusory insurance, such as third party motor insurance, 100% of the caim is covered non compusory insurance, such as home insurance, 90% of the caim is covered. Phone: 0800 678 1100 or 0207 741 4100 Emai: enquiries@fscs.org.uk Section B Vehices For a vehices, caravans or traiers and motorhomes you must aways carry a ega and serviceabe spare whee or a manufacturer suppied or approved emergency tyre infation kit and equipment and keys for any tyre security devices when suppied by the manufacturer. Vehices must be in a roadworthy condition and shoud be serviced and maintained in ine with manufacturer guideines and meet a ega reguations incuding, if appropriate, having an MOT certificate and any appicabe vehice tax. It is your responsibiity to ensure that a vehices are kept in this condition throughout the period of cover and we may ask for proof in the event of a dispute. The service does not cover vehices which, in the opinion of the breakdown professiona attending the vehice, were unroadworthy or were broken down before your poicy began. Uness you have purchased Persona Cover, we wi not provide services for vehices that are not registered with us. You must te us immediatey if you change your vehice. Vehice changes must be permanent and are not reversibe. See Section H if you have paid an extra premium for Persona Cover. Vehices and any caravan or traier that is attached to your vehice must be registered as owned by you, or a member of your househod, and be kept at your home address as shown on our records (see Section H if you have paid an extra premium for Persona Cover). 7

Caravans and traiers - your cover incudes any caravan or traier that is attached to your vehice at the time of the vehice breakdown (this does not incude hep at the home address that we have on our records or within a ¼ of a mie of that address or the ocation at which your caravan or traier is normay stored). Caravans and traiers must be fitted with a standard 50 miimetre ba couping. A caravans and traiers must meet the requirements of the Road Vehices (Construction and Use) Reguations 1986. Motorhomes - must be a recognised make and mode which has been coach-buit for that precise purpose. Section C Roadside Assist If your vehice cannot be driven because of a breakdown which occurred more than a 1/4 of a mie from your home address, we wi: Try to repair the faut at the roadside for up to one hour so that you can continue your journey safey and egay; If we cannot repair your vehice at the roadside we wi transport your vehice, you and up to 7 passengers that are in the vehice at the time of the breakdown to a oca pace of repair or to a destination of your choice within 10 mies of the breakdown; or if you have ost or broken your vehice keys, and a spare set is known to be at a nearby ocation, we may choose at our discretion to arrange transportation for you to coect the spare set instead of aocating a breakdown professiona to attend the vehice. At a times, we wi choose how best to hep you. Reay teephone messages to advise of unforeseen trave deays. Exceptions to Section C Breakdowns occurring within a ¼ of a mie of your home address. A abour charges other than one hour s abour at the roadside, and the cost of repacement parts and/ or other materias are your responsibiity. The cost of suppying a spare whee and tyre if a serviceabe one cannot be provided by you. The cost of, if needed, a speciaist ocksmith, body gass or tyre speciaist. Anything specified within the Service Limitations and Excusions section of this poicy (See Section J). Section D Roadside & Home Assist If your vehice cannot be driven because of a breakdown, we wi: Aow you to use the cover provided under Section C (Roadside Assist) at your home address or within a ¼ of a mie of your home address. Exceptions to Section D A exceptions specified in Section C (Roadside Assist) other than if the breakdown occurs within a ¼ of a mie of your home address. If you do not accept immediate recovery foowing a ca out to your home address, you wi have to pay for any further hep for the same faut. Anything specified within the Service Limitations and Excusions section of this poicy (See Section J). 8

Section E - UK Recovery If your vehice cannot be driven because of a breakdown which occurred at east a ¼ of a mie from your home address, we wi: Aow you to use the cover as specified under Section C (Roadside Assist). 9 Transport your vehice, you and up to 7 passengers that are in the vehice at the time of the breakdown to a oca pace of repair; or to a destination of your choice if the faut or damage cannot be repaired at the scene of the breakdown or ocay by the end of the working day (we wi not pay for any other recoveries); or pay a contribution towards abour costs foowing agreement between you and us if a faut can be repaired ocay. Suppy a Reief Driver if the ony abe and ega driver of the vehice cannot continue a journey because of iness or injury. Documentary proof of the iness or injury must be suppied to us if you are not to be charged for this service. Exceptions to Section E A exceptions specified in Section C (Roadside Assist). Anything specified within the Service Limitations and Excusions section of this poicy (See Section J). Section F - UK Recovery & Home Assist If your vehice cannot be driven because of a breakdown, you may: Use the cover provided under Sections C, D and E; Choose one of the foowing benefits if repairs to the vehice cannot be competed by the end of the working day on which the breakdown occurred; a) The hire of a repacement car (up to 1600cc) for up to 48 hours. We wi pay the cost of the hire car but you are responsibe for a other costs or benefits imposed or offered to you by the hire car company. You must take up the option of a hire car within 48 hours of the breakdown; or b) The cost for you and any passengers to either continue the journey or return to your home address by our choice of aternative transport, up to a maximum of 100 in tota; or c) Pay up to 60 per person for overnight accommodation up to a maximum of 500 at accommodation near the garage that is repairing your vehice, and up to 40 for reasonabe pubic transport costs to get the driver to the garage the foowing day. You must send us your caim within 28 days for us to pay you these costs, aong with the reevant receipts. Caim for the cost for one singe standard cass rai ticket for you or any authorised driver to coect the vehice foowing repair. Exceptions to Section F If you do not accept immediate recovery foowing a ca out to your home address, you wi have to pay for any further hep for the same faut. Costs exceeding the monetary imits specified within Section F (UK Recovery & Home Assist). A hire car not authorised by us. Car hire in the event of the vehice requiring routine servicing or other repair work to correct non immobiising fauts or undergoing repair of cosmetic damage. A exceptions specified in Sections C, D and E. Anything specified within the Service Limitations and Excusions section of this Poicy (see Section J).

Section G - UK & European Assist In addition to a the services, benefits, terms and conditions given under Sections C F of this poicy, those detaied in Sections G1 G7 wi aso appy when the vehice is in the geographica imits isted beow. This cover ony appies to permanent named vehices and is not vaid for caims under the Persona Cover option (See Section H). You may have to pay for some services such as unpanned accommodation and caim it back from us when you return to the UK. The exchange rate wi be based on the exchange rate at the time the caim is processed. We wi aim to provide the most suitabe and cost effective soution to your probem and our decision wi be fina. As we as the genera terms and conditions of this poicy, we wi provide the foowing services if you trave to a country isted under the geographica imits beow: Geographica imits: Abania, Andorra, Austria, Bearus, Begium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bugaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Repubic, Denmark, Estonia, Finand, France, Germany, Gibratar, Greece, Hungary, Iceand, Itay, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Former Yugosav Repubic of Macedonia, Mata, Modova, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherands, Norway, Poand, Portuga, Romania, Russia (West of the Uras), San Marino, Serbia, Sovakia, Sovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerand, Tunisia, Turkey in Europe, Ukraine. Section G1 Cover before you trave If your vehice cannot be driven because of a breakdown during the 7 days immediatey preceding a prebooked trip departure date and repairs cannot be competed before you eave, we wi: Arrange and pay a maximum of up to 800 for you to hire a repacement car, subject to avaiabiity, with you being responsibe for a other costs or benefits imposed or offered to you by the hire car company; or Subject to a ega and statutory reguations aow a temporary change of the vehice that is on cover to aow you to continue your journey; or If your vehice cannot be repaired within 24 hours of your origina panned departure, we wi cover the cost of rebooking your sea crossing or journey via the Channe Tunne which was missed as a resut of the incident giving rise to a caim under this section. Exceptions to Section G1 Any caims resuting from a breakdown if you have purchased this cover ess than 7 days before your panned departure date or an existing poicy which expires before the end of your trip. You must meet the terms and conditions of the hire car company which incude having a vaid driving icence, meeting the minimum age set by the hire car company and being in possession of a vaid credit card. Section G2 Missed Motorai connection If you fai to connect with a pre-booked Motorai service on the outward journey because of a breakdown, we wi: Pay up to 200 to store the insured vehice at a ocation near the Motorai depot for your trip; and Pay the extra transport costs of you, your passengers and uggage to or from the Motorai depot and the ocation of your vehice; and Arrange and pay a maximum of up to 800 for you to hire a repacement car, subject to avaiabiity, with you being responsibe for a other costs or benefits imposed or offered to you by the hire car company. 10

Exceptions to Section G2 You must meet the terms and conditions of the hire car company which incude having a vaid driving icence, meeting the minimum age set by the hire car company and being in possession of a vaid credit card. Connections to Channe Tunne trains are not covered under Section G2 (Missed Motorai connections). Section G3 Roadside assistance and oca recovery If your vehice cannot be driven because of a breakdown during your trip, we wi: Try to repair the faut at the roadside so that you can continue your journey safey and egay; or If the faut cannot be fixed at the roadside, or in circumstances where it is not possibe or safe to try to repair a faut at the roadside (for exampe, on a motorway), we wi transport the vehice, driver and up to 7 passengers to a oca pace of repair. If we cannot repair your vehice by the end of the working day on which the breakdown occurred, we wi: Arrange and pay a maximum of up to 800 for you to hire a repacement car, subject to avaiabiity, with you being responsibe for a other costs or benefits imposed or offered to you by the hire car company; or Pay up to a maximum of 500 to transport you, up to 7 passengers and your uggage to your onward destination; or Pay for overnight accommodation for you and up to 7 passengers, up to 60 per person per night to a maximum of 500, to cover any additiona costs you may incur in excess of your panned accommodation costs. You wi have to caim these costs from us on your return. We wi not pay your panned accommodation costs. Exceptions to Section G3 You must meet the terms and conditions of the hire car company which incude having a vaid driving icence, meeting the minimum age set by the hire car company and being in possession of a vaid credit card. Important information about Roadside assistance and oca recovery in Europe In some countries if you break down on a motorway or other major route, your ca may be answered by the poice and they may arrange for a recovery without our authorisation. If this is the case, you may be asked to pay for the service and you shoud keep the receipt and caim it back from us when you get back to the UK. Section G4 Providing spare parts If repacement parts are not avaiabe ocay to carry out a permanent repair, we wi try and get them esewhere. You wi have to pay by credit card or debit card for the cost of the repacement parts before we order them. We wi pay a freight charges, subject to a maximum of 500 associated with getting the parts to the oca repairer. Section G5 Reief Driver If the ony avaiabe driver cannot continue a journey because of iness or injury, we wi: Provide a quaified driver to drive your vehice and up to 7 passengers back to your home address in the UK; or Pay any extra costs to transport your vehice, up to 7 passengers and uggage back to the UK as ong as these costs are not higher than the market vaue of your vehice. 11

Important information about Reief Driver Documentary evidence of the iness or injury must be suppied to us if you are not to be charged for this service. Section G6 Repatriating your vehice If your vehice cannot be driven because of a breakdown during your trip and your vehice can not be repaired in time for your return journey to the UK, we wi: Pay any extra costs of transporting you, up to 7 passengers and uggage back to the UK; and Pay the cost of transporting your vehice to your home address in the UK as ong as these costs are not higher than the market vaue of the insured vehice; or Pay up to 500 for someone you choose to trave to the pace of repair to drive your vehice back to your home address in the UK. Important information about repatriating your vehice It can take up to 15 working days to arrange repatriation of your vehice foowing our agreement to do so. The UK market vaue of the vehice wi be obtained from the Gass s Guide or a recognised equivaent. We wi not be responsibe for the transportation of any excise goods which come under the jurisdiction of HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) such as tobacco, acoho or fue. These items must be removed from the vehice prior to transportation being arranged and you wi be responsibe for the arrangement and the cost of an aternative method of shipping. Section G7 Temporary repacement vehice in the UK If you have to return to the UK before your vehice, we wi: Arrange and pay a maximum of up to 800 for you to hire a repacement car, subject to avaiabiity, with you being responsibe for a other costs or benefits imposed or offered to you by the hire car company; or Subject to a ega and statutory reguations agree a temporary vehice swap unti your vehice is returned to the UK. Exceptions to Section G7 You must meet the terms and conditions of the hire car company which incude having a vaid driving icence, meeting the minimum age set by the hire car company and being in possession of a vaid credit card. Exceptions to a of Section G UK & European Assist is ony effective the day after you purchased the cover. Anything specified within the Service Limitations and Excusions section of this poicy (see Section J). We wi not pay for any of the foowing: Any bai or customs duty you must pay; Any costs which you woud have had to pay anyway if the breakdown had not happened; Any costs arising after your vehice has been returned to the UK irrespective of whether the vehice requires repair; The cost of repacement parts, abour or other materias; Costs resuting from a previousy discovered faut which has not been repaired by a quaified technician; 12

Services covered by any other insurance poicy or costs which you can caim against another person; The costs of any services you have to pay outside the geographica imits; The costs of any services we have not authorised; Loss or damage to any unaccompanied baggage or persona beongings we are transporting; Any fines awarded against you; and Your vehice s repatriation if the costs wi exceed its UK market vaue. Section H - Persona Cover If you have paid an additiona premium for Persona Cover it extends your cover to any privatey owned vehice you or your spouse/partner drive or trave in, within the UK, and to any privatey owned caravan or traier attached to the vehice at the time of the of the vehice breakdown. The vehice must meet any weight, dimension and age restrictions appicabe and which we do not excude under Section J (Service Limitations and Excusions). Exceptions to Section H Repairs cannot be undertaken uness you have the authority of the owner of the vehice to authorise any repairs. 13 If you are caiming under Persona Cover and the vehice you or your spouse/partner are in is not the vehice registered with us, you or your spouse/partner must be with the vehice when the breakdown occurs and when the breakdown professiona arrives to assist. Section I - Genera conditions of service 1. You must make a requests for our breakdown and recovery assistance immediatey. We wi not accept responsibiity for any service or hep that we have not arranged. 2. You or your representative must stay with the vehice to make sure that the breakdown professiona has access to the vehice. Your representative must have your permission to authorise any necessary repair or other work, which wi be at your expense and if appropriate, have your permission to drive the vehice. If you are caiming under Persona Cover and the vehice you or your spouse/partner are in is not the vehice registered with us, you or your spouse/partner must be with the vehice when the breakdown occurs and when the breakdown professiona arrives to assist. 3. We wi try to repair your vehice, or take it to your chosen destination, inked to your cover entitement. We do not cover norma vehice maintenance (incuding the repacement of tyres which have been aowed to run fat or are beow the ega tread imit) and wi charge you for any services that are not covered by the poicy. 4. We reserve the right to recover your vehice in accordance with reguations as they reate to our breakdown professionas working hours. This may resut in the breakdown professiona taking reguar breaks or the need to operate a staged recovery where further breakdown professionas are used to share the recovery. 5. In the event of a recovery our breakdown professiona wi unoad the vehice in a safe and appropriate pace cose to your chosen destination. For exampe, our breakdown professiona wi not unoad a vehice on a private driveway if there is insufficient space, a risk of ground compression or obstaces which coud make this difficut. 6. In the event of a road traffic accident you must contact your motor insurance company in the first instance to arrange recovery to ensure you receive your fu entitements. If assistance is not avaiabe for whatever reason, we wi provide the services as shown under your cover entitement.

7. You must te us if you are covered for services by any other insurance poicy or can caim against another person. If you are covered by another insurance poicy we wi ask you to incude our invoice in your caim against the other person or against your other poicy to recover or reduce our costs. 8. It is your responsibiity to make sure that any temporary repair that our breakdown professionas carry out is foowed immediatey by any necessary permanent repair. We wi ask for proof of repair in the event of a dispute. 9. In the event that your payment defauts, we wi terminate your cover immediatey and seek to recover a costs incurred in providing services to you. We reserve the right to refuse service in the event of payment defaut. 10. We wi not provide assistance and reserve the right to cance your poicy or decine cover at renewa, if you: Fai to repair the vehice foowing a ca out for the same probem; Knowingy use the vehice when a faut has been identified; Fai to service and maintain the vehice in ine with manufacturer guideines; Fai to obtain a vaid MOT certificate if required by aw; Fai to tax the vehice if required by aw; Fai to keep the vehice in a roadworthy condition. We wi ask you to provide documentary evidence such as an MOT, Repair or Service invoice in the event that you fai to compy with the above conditions. Faiure to suppy documentary evidence wi resut in your poicy being canceed. 11. In the event that we have provided services which are not covered by this poicy, for exampe we have attended a vehice at your home address and the eve of cover you chose did not incude assistance at home, or we have provided spare parts for a repair and settement has not been made to the breakdown professiona or suppier as specified in Section J (Service Limitations and Excusions), cause 3, we wi charge you at the time of your ca or we wi send you an invoice for the amount due which shoud be paid within 30 days. 12. If you have given us fase information on your appication for cover, or given us incorrect information when you asked for hep, for exampe the vehice does not meet a ega requirements or was broken down before your cover started; you wi have to pay a costs which we have had to pay as a resut of your fase or incorrect information. In such circumstances we reserve the right to terminate your cover immediatey with no refund. 13. We may ony recover a vehice from the scene of an accident if we have permission from the emergency services invoved. 14. If there are any differences between the terms in this Poicy Document and any terms our breakdown professionas agreed over the phone or in person, these written terms wi appy. 15. We wi not provide assistance if you or any passenger behave in a threatening or abusive manner to us or our breakdown professionas. 16. Any diagnosis by our breakdown professiona is ony provisiona; you may require a foow up diagnosis by your own repairer, at your own cost, to determine the exact nature of the breakdown and what work or parts are required for repairs to be competed. 14

Section J - Service Limitations and Excusions We wi not be responsibe for providing the foowing: 1. The cost of any service outside the period of cover, or where we have not received the correct premium. 2. Breakdown and recovery assistance on the road within a ¼ of a mie of your home address that we have on record, uness you have paid for Roadside & Home Assist, UK Recovery & Home Assist or UK & European Assist cover. 3. The cost of a parts or suppies used or provided to you or for your vehice. These wi incude: The cost of suppying and fitting windscreens; Labour costs in removing and disposa of contaminated or incorrecty mixed fue; and Storage charges uness we have specificay covered them under your chosen eve of cover. You must pay a these costs to the breakdown professiona or suppier. 4. Any charges incurred because your vehice is not carrying a ega and serviceabe spare whee or a manufacturer suppied or approved emergency tyre infation kit and equipment and keys for any tyre security devices (this does not appy to motorcyces). 5. Any fines, penaties, tos or uncamping charges you have to pay. We wi pay any tos if your vehice is being recovered at the time by one of our breakdown professionas. 6. Accommodation or other expenses (for exampe, rai or taxi charges) that you or your passengers have to pay, uness we have specificay covered them under your chosen eve of cover. 7. Any costs where speciaist equipment is needed to move your vehice into a position where we can try to repair or transport it. For exampe a charges for retrieving your vehice from a ditch or fied are your responsibiity. Any vehice or equipment other than a standard recovery vehice woud be considered speciaist. 8. The fu costs of our breakdown professiona s time if, having caed us, you empoy another breakdown professiona before our breakdown professiona arrives to repair or recover your vehice. However, if you phone us for hep but you manage to get your vehice going again, we may agree not to charge you for our breakdown professiona s time if you contact us immediatey. 9. Breakdown and recovery assistance for vehices invoved in sporting events, incuding racing, pacemaking, speed testing, raies, trias and a other track based activities or practising for any such events, and those invoved in eisure off road events. 10. Breakdown and recovery assistance for vehices invoved in hire and/or reward uses (such as a taxi). 11. Any oss of business, oss of profit, oss of revenue, oss of contract, oss of goods or any direct or indirect osses incurred as a resut of the services provided to you under this poicy or the deay or aeged deay in providing such services. 12. Major repairs, servicing, stripping down vehices or reassemby (incuding repairing fauty brakes, steering, suspension or DIY work). 13. Recovering a caravan or traier if it is occupied by peope or ivestock, and transporting animas and pets in a recovery vehice (with the exception of Assistance Dogs). In these cases, the breakdown professiona s decision is fina. 14. Any costs you have to pay if, foowing an accident, the poice have temporariy removed the vehice to a safe ocation or oca pace of repair. After you have paid any costs and fied in the necessary paperwork, we wi recover your vehice subject to the conditions under Section I (Genera Conditions of Service), cause 6. 15

15. Recovery if it woud be dangerous or iega for our breakdown professiona to oad or transport your vehice. In these cases, our breakdown professiona s decision is fina. 16. Hep on garage premises which are not our breakdown professiona s premises. 17. Services in the case of: war or miitary operations; acts of terrorism; events beyond our contro; civi disorder; a nationa emergency; anything which the Government or Highway Authority does or fais to do; ega restrictions; industria disputes; fire; ightning; exposion; food (except where the breakdown has occurred due to water damage whie the vehice was in motion/use); nucear exposions or a reease of ionising radiation; subsidence; or severe weather conditions. 18. Any caims arising from speeding, acoho or drug reated incidents. 19. More than one recovery per breakdown uness we agree otherwise. 20. Transportation of any excise goods which come under the jurisdiction of HM Revenue & Customs such as tobacco, acoho or fue. These items must be removed from the vehice prior to transportation being arranged and you wi be responsibe for the cost of that shipping. 21. Where you agree for repairs to be conducted by our breakdown professiona at their premises, we are not responsibe for the quaity of repairs they undertake. The agreement to conduct repairs is soey between you and the breakdown professiona. 22. Any osses, costs or damages which you suffer as a resut of our faiure to provide the services isted in Sections C to H. 23. Any costs other than a tow to the nearest garage or service station if the breakdown is as a resut of running out of fue. 24. Any costs incurred as a resut of not carrying a serviceabe spare tyre and whee or approved emergency tyre infation kit and equipment (if suppied by the manufacturer) for your vehice, caravan or traier uness it has not been buit by the manufacturer to support the carriage of a serviceabe spare tyre. This appies equay to fu size or space saver aternatives. 25. Breakdown and recovery assistance for vehices using trade pates. 26. Any assistance or ca out costs where you or your spouse/partner are not with the vehice when the breakdown professiona arrives at the vehice, uness the vehice is registered with us and being driven by your representative with your permission. In cases of the atter, your representative must be with the vehice when our breakdown professiona arrives. 27. Breakdown and recovery assistance for vehices not registered in the UK. 16

28. Any cover or benefits if we have not attended the vehice at the time of the breakdown except where you have ost or broken your vehice keys, and a spare set is known to be at a nearby ocation. Despite these imitations and excusions, we do not intend anything in these poicy conditions to imit any ega rights you may have as a consumer against us or our empoyees or breakdown professionas as a consequence of death or persona injury resuting from our negigence or that of our empoyees or breakdown professionas. 17
