INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM Please note that all the applications for MMS 2015 17 and MSc Finance 2015 17 course, will have to be submitted online through the official application portal. Please do not send printed copies of the application through post, they will not be accepted. Do read the instructions below, before filling in/submitting the online application form. General instructions 1. Before applying to a particular course, please ensure that you qualify under the eligibility criteria of the course. No refund of the application fee will be made if the candidate realises that he/she is ineligible for a particular course. 2. At the time of registration, the candidate can choose to apply for more than 1 course. Please note that after the registration, the course(s) selections cannot be changed. 3. The online application form consists of several sections and can be filled in multiple sittings, within the deadline. You can use the navigation bar at the top of every page to navigate to different sections. Each node on the bar represents a section, if the node is red then the information for those sections is incomplete; if the node is green then all the required fields have been completed. 4. Incomplete/inconsistent/incorrect data in the sections will be discarded and those fields will not be considered while evaluating the application.this might affect your candidature and may even lead to disqualification. Therefore, please double check your application and submit the form well in advance. 5. Please check all the details entered, before you submit the form. Once submitted, you will not be able to edit any details.
6. Please note, in order to ensure security, the session automatically logs out after 1 hour of inactivity. In case, you don t get logged out, despite the webpage being inactive for over an hour, please close the browser; open a fresh browser and log in again. 7. It is advisable that you fill the application form from a desktop/laptop and not from a mobile phone. The application works best on IE 10.0+, Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Personal and contact details section 1. Please ensure that the name, date of birth and gender, entered by you is the same as it appears on your identity proof. 2. Please ensure that the contact details entered are recent as the status of your application will be communicated using the details provided by you. 3. Even though it is not mandatory, we suggest you fill in your phone number in the contact details. The preferred format for the phone number is (Phone country code)(phone Area code)(phone number) e.g.: 912212345678. Academic qualifications section 1. You are required to fill details of your 10th, 12th and at least one bachelor s degree. 2. Irrespective of the evaluation criteria of your Board for class 10th and 12th respectively, please provide us with the aggregate percentage (average of all the subjects appeared), for each of these classes. 3. Specialisation is your area of study/major in the degree and discipline mentioned. For e.g. Specialisation is Civil engineering while discipline is Engineering. Please do not mention every subject studied in the final year. 4. The graduation marks entered by the applicant must be the aggregate percentage and NOT just the final year percentage. For applicants who are in their final year of graduation, please fill in the average percentage of the years prior to the final year. 5. For students who are a part of the integrated masters course, please fill in the average percentage of the first three years of your course as your graduation marks. The final aggregate percentage will be rounded off to two decimal places.
6. For students following the GPA system, please mention your CGPA and NOT your Semester GPA. 7. Please note that the shortlisted candidates will be asked to bring in their mark sheets, degree certificates and other documents for verification purposes. Please do not send any documents via post as they will not be entertained. 8. To add any additional academic qualification like Masters, professional degrees (CA,CFA), click on the "add another academic qualification tab. Please fill in all the relevant details like scores, year of passing, so that it can be evaluated by us. In case, you want to remove any of the additional academic qualifications added by you, please click on the respective remove button. Work experience section 1. Please fill in the details of full time work experience after graduation only. Please do not include summer projects/internships/volunteer work/part time work, etc. 2. Make sure that periods of employment do not overlap. This might be considered as inconsistent data. 3. Shortlisted candidates will be required to bring proof of the work experience(s) that they have mentioned in the form. References section 1. Provide us with the contact details of a referee who can inform us about your ability and achievement. Please inform your referee that the institute may contact them via mail or telephone. 2. Please note that this referee can be a professor at your college or a professor you have worked under, your manager at the organisation you have worked for or a supervisor of the project you have worked on. Please do not list any family members or friends as your referee, references from such referees will not be entertained.
Test score details section 1. Please note that to apply for MMS 2015 batch at JBIMS, you need to appear for at least one of the exams CAT 2014 or MH CET 2015. 2. Please note that GMAT and GRE are not qualifying exams. However, we would encourage you to share all the details of the scores, in case you have given those exams. 3. For all NRI, Foreign national and PIO applicants, GMAT is a mandatory exam. Please ensure that all the details related to GMAT are filled; and that the exam was taken no earlier than December 2011. Documents upload section 1. Please ensure that the photograph uploaded does not exceed 400 MB in size. If the image is scanned, kindly upload it in the portrait format (No rotated or landscape format). 2. Photo of the candidate should have the face distinctly visible, straight and at the centre. Eyes should be open and visible as well. 3. The photograph should not be more than 6 months old. 4. Photos where the candidate s face is not visible or where the candidate is seen wearing a cap or sunglasses will be rejected. Payment and confirmation mails 1. The payment page in the application form won't appear till all the required fields are filled. 2. The application fee per course is Rs. 1200 for a general category, NRI, foreign nationals, PIOs category, candidate and Rs. 950 for backward classes category candidate. This means that if a candidate has selected two courses during the process of registration, he/she will be required to pay an amount of Rs 2400 (for general category, NRI, foreign nationals, PIOs candidates) or Rs. 1900 (for backward class candidates), while submitting the online application form.
Please note that the candidate can pay through DD/Wire transfer, Debit card/credit card payment gateway, for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees. No other mode of payment shall be permitted. 3. For candidates applying to more than one courses and paying through the DD/ Wire transfer, please pay the fees through a single DD/Wire transfer. Please make sure that you write your application id and the program that you have applied for behind the Demand Draft. If applying through a wire transfer, please mention the application ID and the program that you have applied for. 4. On submitting the application by filling DD/Bank transfer details, you will receive an email confirming the submission. However, your application will be processed once your payment is confirmed and you shall be informed of the same via a confirmation email. 5. If you fail to submit the form successfully within the stipulated deadline and make an offline payment (through DD) then your form will not be considered as complete and your payment will not be refunded 6. For students paying through Credit/Debit card, once your payment is successful, you will be redirected to the application form. After clicking on the submit tab on the redirected page, you will receive a confirmation mail on your registered email id. 7.
