The scholarship program at Gogebic Community College is supported by contributions from organizations, individual donors and the Gogebic Community College Foundation. Awards are made by the GCC Scholarship Committee and are based primarily on academic performance, completeness of the scholarship application, how well it is written and other criteria identified by the donor(s). A number of additional scholarships and awards are made by other community sponsors for GCC students. The applications for these scholarships can be picked up in the high school guidance office or from the individual organization. GCC also receives new scholarships throughout the year. Student scholarship applications are current for one academic year. Students must apply each year. Scholarships are not automatically renewable.
