M.Sc Forensic Medicine & Bioethics A taught M.Sc with a dissertation, The use of infrared thermometry in the estimation of the time since death in the early postmortem period. The dissertation discussed data that was obtained from a study measuring temperature decay where the time of death was accurately known. Ethical considerations prevented publication of the study. My daily rate for attending a Court Hearing is 650 or 330 per half day, which includes times for travelling and waiting. I expect payment even if I do not give oral evidence I will also invoice you for any reasonable expenses at cost. Travel and subsistence from Gatwick Airport. Copies of receipts will be provided if requested. In legally aided cases (where my fees constitute a disbursement), I expect you to make a prompt claim to the Legal Services Commission, and to advise me of any expected delay in settlement.
