About Reinhardt University History In 1883, Augustus Michael Reinhardt and John J.A. Sharp started a school in Waleska, Georgia, to offer an education to the children of the Civil War-ravaged area. Reinhardt traveled to Dalton, Georgia, to appear before the North Georgia Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church South to ask for their support in providing a teacher and preacher for the school. The church agreed and sent the Reverend James T. Linn to Reinhardt Academy, which had been named in honor of Augustus father, Lewis W. Reinhardt. Tuition Information Tuition and Fees $370 per credit hour $125 online course fee per course Tuition and fees are due approximately two weeks prior to the start of a semester. Correspondence mailed to admitted students will include specific dates regarding tuition and fees, which are also published in the academic calendar. We accept cash, check, money order, or credit card payments (VISA, MasterCard and American Express). Students can make monthly payments if enrolled with Tuition Management Systems prior to the start of classes. FAQs 1) How do I prepare for online courses? For your convenience, we offer a student training presentation that provides instructions on taking an online course. The presentation is available upon request. 2) How will I access my online course? Enrolled students will receive a login ID and password. Upon entering the ID and password in the login window, students will be able to access their online class, view course information or retrieve their academic records. 3) Will I have face-to-face meetings with my professor? Online courses are delivered entirely through the Internet. However, students can visit the campus and meet with professors during office hours if desired. 4) Will I have access to library resources? Our library resources and services are available to all faculty and students wherever the programs or courses are located and however they are delivered. 5) How do I get help if I cannot access my online course?
