All while delivering lightning- quick system performance. Success in 1010data s 10 Week Summer Program means you had a direct effect on the business and helped evolve our product as we continue to change the rules of big data discovery. Recent Analyst Intern Projects
Added various support vector machine algorithms to the 1010data platform, allowing customers to leverage different modeling techniques when analyzing their data. Analyzed new datasets looking for ways to build new data products that could be sold to the users of our platform. Leveraged 1010data to build a new type of planogram (shelving unit organization) analysis (had never been done on 1010data before) for one of our retail customers. Go on to fulltime work as a Data Platform Analyst: Data Platform Analysts at 1010data create solutions to client- driven business problems involving massive data sets (>10s of billions of rows) by designing high- performance reporting tools, queries, transform processes and databases, to gain insight, and empower our customers. Recent Developer Intern Projects Added the ability to encrypt the data stored in 1010data in a way that customers could still do analysis but 1010data administrators could not decrypt the data. Built a static table analysis tool, which identified what types of queries would run well/poorly on a table, and suggested how to restructure the table if an important query wasn t going to perform well. Integrated 1010data with Google Maps, allowing users to overlay pins/polygons/heatmaps on a Google Map. Go on to fulltime work as a Developer: Developers at 1010data design and implement large- scale analytics solutions; this includes designing the associated high- performance database structure, data transformations, and workflow processes.
