The product can be used in a wide range of applications including Metering Environmental control Condition monitoring Fault Detection and Diagnosis On first power-up the product automatically connects to the SITELINK Cloud Server which gives access to remote devices using standard internet protocols. No special programming or on-site configuration is required. The SITELINK-3G model is optimised for connection over cellular networks and can reduce data usage by up to a factor of 50 compared with conventional solutions, significantly reducing data costs. The device also manages data usage to prevent usage exceeding the monthly tariff. SITELINK-3G is supplied preconfigured with a SIM so that Cloud Connection occurs on power-up. The SITELINK-ETH model is optimised for connection over broadband and can be installed on site using either Ethernet or WiFi. The SITELINK-ETH is pre-configured to connect to the SITELINK Cloud Server on power-up.

Mobile Commissioning Cloud Server Console Scan the Sitelink QR code with a mobile phone, the SITELINK Cloud Server will automatically load with the engineering console for the device. The SITELINK Cloud Server Console allows testing and configuration of the SITELINK Interface from any web browser providing the correct log-in details are supplied. 3G Ultra-Low Data Use 3G Roaming SITELINK uses data compression to achieve ultra-efficient data transfer, allowing high volume data transfer even for small monthly data tarrifs. Tarrif MB / Month Modbus Queries / Minute 20MB 60 100MB 300 1000MB 3000 SITELINK can achieve up to a factor of 50 reduction in data usage compared with conventional Modbus queries, allowing a 1GB monthly tariff to be reduced to 20MB, which makes it possible to use roaming SIMs. SITELINK supports the use of multinetwork Roaming SIMs, giving improved connection reliability compared with standard single network SIMS. Use of Roaming SIMs also simplifies installation by removing the need for site coverage on a specific network. 3G Data Capping The SITELINK Cloud Server monitors monthly data usage and throttles data to prevent data overuse penalties.

Simple https:// queries can be used to directly read and write data points using XML, JSON or plain Text. A Script library is available for Google Apps to allow data logging directly from Google Spreadsheets. This allows Cloud datalogging to be easily configured. Generated graphs can be automatically embedded in webpages. Data in Webpages Javascript and PHP libraries are available to embed data points directly into web pages. Points can be read and written directly from a webpage.
Security Cloud Server Deployment The SITELINK system is designed to give end-to-end security to the data path. The SITELINK Interface is preconfigured to connect to the public SITELINK Cloud Server. Cloud Server connections to site can be protected by IPSec or SSL/TLS tunnels. Client connections to the cloud server are via https:// to prevent eavesdropping. Private SITELINK Servers can be deployed for customers who wish to install the servers within VPNs, or who require dedicated Cloud based servers. Access to a specific site requires a secure PIN to be supplied to authorise data access. Multiple PINs can be generated with different access rights to allow basic user to have limited read access while allowing engineers full access.
