AKUA MAGNETIC LIMESCALE PREVENTING DEVICES INTRODUCTION AND OPERATING MANUAL This manual contains information about Akua Magnetic Lime Scale Preventing devices, their assembly and usage rules. In order to benefit from devices effectively, the assembly and usage rules are have to be obeyed. 1) Definition Magnetic Lime Scale Preventing Devices function changing the crystal structure of lime (calcium carbonate) in the water with helping the magnetic field produced by the magnets inside the device. Calcite crystal of lime (calcium carbonate) sticks on the internal wall of devices and installations. 4) Assembly of devices to pipes 4.1) Screwed Devices Akua Magnetic Lime Scale Preventing Devices are used by connecting devices to pipes. From this point of, on the pipes that devices will be assembled, the total length of devices and assembly components must be cut from the related pipe. Devices which have 1/2, 3/4 K and 3/4 B nominal diameters have male and female screw connections, devices which have 3/4 Y, 1, 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 nominal diameters have only male screw connections. Assembly of devices which have 1/2, 3/4 K and 3/4 B nominal diameters are shown in the picture below. In order to assemble, two units of 3/4 sleeve coupling and one 3/4 nipple must use. Assembly of devices which have 3/4 Y, 1, 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 nominal diameters are shown in the picture below. In order to assemble, four units of 3/4 sleeve coupling and two units of 3/4 nipple must use. Attention: Above the picture there is only one side connection detailed information given. The connection must be done the same as for the other side!
4.2) Flanged Devices From 2 to 40 devices have flanged connection. Devices are assembled by using suitable two unit flange and two unit gasket. Assembly can be done by the way shown in the picture below. 5) Connection Points According to Usage Area According to usage area Akua Magnetic Lime Scale Preventing Devices connection points are given below. 5.1) Heating Boilers Heating Boilers are closed circuit. Heated water in boiler, periodically transfer between boiler and radiators. For this reason Akua Magnetic Lime Scale Preventing Devices are needed to be montaged to hot water outlet line, before or after collector.
5.2) Boilers Devices should be montaged to heater water and cold water inlet lines as shown in picture below. 5.4) Solar Collector For Solar Collectors, devices should be montaged to only cold water inlet line. 5.3) Heat Exchangers Devices should be montaged to plate type and pipe type heat exchangers on hot water and cold water inlet lines. 5.5) Air Conditioning Systems Where the devices should be located to the air conditioning system, is shown in the picture below.
5.6) Combo Heaters In Combo Heaters, there are two different water circuit called open water circuit and close water circuit. A device assembled to the building main water inlet, will protect only open circuits of combo heaters. For the closed circuits, there is need for another device and it should be located after pump. 5.7) Autoclave Machine Autoclave machines have open circuit water lines. Besides this, devices should be located between the outlet of pumps and steam generators inlet because water keeps waiting in depot. Location for Autoclave machines is shown as in the picture below. 5.8) Water Cooling Towers Devices should be montaged only to the lines of the hot water inlet.
5.9) Thermal and Gas Power Plants In thermal and gas power plants, devices should be installed in points as shown in picture. 5.10) Geothermal Applications Devices should be located in Geothermal Applications. The Assembly of Geothermal Applications as in the picture below. 5.11) Swimming Pools Devices should be assembled to swimming pools as shown in the picture below.
5.12) Water Purification Devices Devices Should be in entrance of running water inlet 5.13) Irrigation systems Devices should be assembled to Irrigation Systems water depot outlet. 5.14) Milk Cooling Tanks Devices should be assembled to the cooling water line of Milk Cooling Tanks as shown in the picture below. 6) Adjustments Akua Magnetic Lime Scale Preventing Devices don t need any adjustments. You should do leakage control, only. 7) Maintenance and Repair Akua Magnetic Lime Scale Preventing Devices don t require maintenance and repair. 8) Warnings -Devices should place on points as far as possible away from the machines and installations which can be affected by magnetic field.. -Devices should keep away from people with pacemaker and electronic devices such as, computers, cellular phones, clocks, because of the strong magnetic field. -During devices montage, all safety precautions must be taken. -During the assembly of flanged devices, there is spark so in workspace, certainly there shouldn t be any explosive and flammable materials. -Devices have to be installed considering the rules and connecting schemes. -Leakage control should be checked after the connecting of devices is finished. -If necessary, the pipes on which the heavy devices are installed should be supplied from appropriate points for balancing loads.
