Step 1: Networking Connect the DVR / NVR to router/switch through a lan cable. On your PC >> Start Run cmd ipconfig According to the default gateway IP assign your device an IP in the same range. For eg. If the default gateway is : 192.168.0.1 then device IP will be: 192.168.0.64 or If default gateway is: 192.168.1.1 then device IP will be: 192.168.1.64 3 P a g e

Note: If you have a single device then port forwarding can be done using DMZ host. If you have more than one device, please follow the port forwarding procedure mentioned in Virtual server and disable DMZ host. 9 P a g e

If ports are closed, go to router page Advance Setup NAT Virtual Server Port forwarding using your device s local IP as shown in figure below: Check for the open port status If ports are not open, contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider). If ports are open, proceed further. 11 P a g e
Step 4: DDNS registration Open Internet Explorer in the address bar, type IP address of DDNS Management Server http://asdev.hik-online.com If you don t have an account, please click register new user to create a new user. Register a new account and login into the DDNS page using the same username and password 12 P a g e
When you login at the first time, it will pop up a tip to remind you to select the country. The country cannot be changed once saved, so please select it prudently. For better device management, it s highly recommended to set it same as the one you set for your device. 13 P a g e

In Device management, click on Add option. Enter in Device name and serial number. By default, http port of device is 80. If http port of device was changed from 80, please enter new port in http Port area. Note: Please input here the registered domain name in the device domain area and correct device serial no. 15 P a g e
Click Device Status to show all added devices information like Serial number, Dynamic IP, HTTP port, DDNS IP address. You can access the device using the Device Link URL. If the device status is offline, you can click diagnose to check the reason. 16 P a g e
