He has been practicing for 30 years and is a DRI member and a member of the New York and Tennessee Bars. Daniel J. Arnett, founder of Arnett Law Group in Chicago, focuses on personal injury defense and commercial litigation. He is a DRI member and a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, the Litigation Counsel of America, and the International Society of Barristers. Nicholas Ghiselli is the assistant vice president and senior attorney of the MMIC Group in Denver, the largest policyholder-owned medical liability insurer in the Midwest. MMIC serves large hospitals and health care systems, physician practices, and outpatient and long-term care facilities. Previously, he was senior counsel with COPIC Companies, where he was responsible for coverage, contracts, and managing outside litigation. Paul H. Jepsen, a vice president with DecisionQuest in its Minneapolis office, has developed trial strategies from a social science perspective for over 20 years. He has provided jury research and trial consulting on hundreds of cases nationwide, including overall strategy, opening statements, witness evaluation and preparation, demonstrative exhibits, voir dire, verdict and damages risk analysis, and juror questionnaires. GENERAL INFORMATION GENERAL INFORMATION CLE/CLAIMS ADJUSTERS ACCREDITATION This seminar has been approved for MCLE credit by the State Bar of California in the amount of 15 hours, including 1 hour of ethics credit. Accreditation has been requested from every state with mandatory continuing legal education (CLE) requirements. Certificates of attendance will be provided to each attendee. Attendees are responsible for obtaining CLE credits from their respective states. Application has been made for continuing education for claims adjusters.
