INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing our Oil-Filled Radiator. Each unit has been manufactured to ensure safety and reliability. Before first use, please read the instructions carefully and keep them for further reference. ASSEMBLY Remove the heater and all the accessories from the carton. 1. Turn the heater upside down. 2. Position the wheel base assemblies between the end fins. 3. Attach them to the heater using the U-bolts and wing nuts supplied. 4. Tighten the wing nuts. 5. Turn the heater the right way up. OPERATION This heater is equipped with Electronic Digital Controls that provide the ability to set the temperature to the exact degree desired.to operate, simply follow these instructions. Electrical connection 1. Make sure that the appliance s voltage and the line voltage match 2. Switch the power switch to 0. 3. Only connect the mains plug to a properly installed earthed socket 220-240V~,50Hz. Connected Wattage The power level of the device is 2500W With this connected load a separate supply line protected by a 16A household circuit breaker is recommended. CAUTION overload: 1. If you use extension leads, these should have a cable cross-section of at least 1.5m m2. 2. Do not use any multiple sockets, as this device is too powerful. 3. Do not connect other high power appliances to the same circuit. Safety Switch: Your radiator has a safety switch which turns off the electricity as soon as the device falls over. The safety switch prevents dangerous situations caused by overheating. 1. Always place the device in an upright position so that it is stable as well as in order to prevent malfunctions. 2. The appliance may still remain hot after it has toppled over. Wait until it has cooled down.
Switch the appliance on again using the button. 1. Switch on the appliance with the power switch. 2. Press the button 1 X for high power ( ). 2 X for medium power ( ) 3 X for low power ( ), 4 X and the appliance goes to standby. Note:the heater will run continuously if you do not set a temperature. SETTING THE TEMPERATURE Note: you must set the thermostat in proper operation. After the button is turned on, you must press the MODE setting, and then accordingly: 1. Temperature setting: If ambient temperature increases or decreases, you must press the MODE button and then press "+" or "-" to set the required temperature. Otherwise, the heater will not operate. 2. Switch the appliance on. 3. Press the button. The number 88 flashes on the display. 4. Press the MODE button.the number 24 or 75 and a thermometer symbol shall appear on the display. The thermometer symbol flashes. 5. Use the / button to select the temperature display in degrees Celsius or in Fahrenheit. 6. Use the +/- buttons to set the desired room temperature. The values can be read off the display.
Note:The radiator will now warm up the room. The thermometer symbol flashes throughout. When the desired temperature is reached, the thermometer symbol stops flashing and is constantly lit. The thermometer symbol flashes again as soon as the radiator needs to be heated up again. Use the +/- buttons to change the desired room temperature at any time. SETTING THE TIMER (AUTO-OFF) This function should only be set if you desire the heater to be automatically shut off after a certain period of time (1 to 24 hours from the time the function is set) 1. Press the MODE button until the timer icon blinks. The hour display will appear. The AUTO OFF icon will also appear. 2. Use the + and - buttons to set the heater operation time between 1 and 24 hours. This function will activate once the timer icon stops blinking. 3. The heater will automatically turn-off when time runs out. (If the heater has not been set with a specific time, from opening the heater shall automatically turn off at the default time of 10 hours.) SETTING THE TIMER (AUTO-ON) This function provides a delayed start option and should only be set if you desire that the heater is being automatically turned ON after a certain period of time (1 to 24 hours from the time the function is set). 1. Press the MODE button until the timer icon blinks. The hour display will appear. The AUTO ON icon will also appear.
2. Use the + and - buttons to set the heater starting time between 1 and 24 hours. This function will activate once the timer icon stops blinking. 3. The heater will automatically turn on when time expires. 4. The heater will automatically turn-on when time runs out. (If the heater has not been set with a specific time, from opening the heater shall automatically turn off at the default time which is 10 hours) The AUTO OFF and AUTO ON functions cannot be combined at the same time IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS 1. Read the instructions carefully before usage and save them for future reference. 2. Always disconnect the heater from the main supply when not in use and when cleaning. 3. Do not leave the heater "ON" unattended. 4. Never cover the heater as this may lead to risk of fire. 5. Keep the heater a distance of at least 90 cm from any combustible material, such as furniture, curtains, bedding cloths or papers. 6. Keep the heater clean. Do not allow objects to enter the ventilation, as this may cause electric shock, fire or damage the heater. 7. Close supervision is required when any appliance is used near or by children. 8. Never allow the cord to touch wet or hot surfaces, become twisted or be within the reach of children. 9. Do not use outdoors. 10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner. 11. Never use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance has malfunctioned or been damaged in any way. 12. Never attempt to open any part or dismantle the controls. Responsibility for failure cannot be accepted if these instructions have been ignored. 13. Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use. 14. This appliance is intended for household use only. 15. Regulations concerning the disposal of the oil when scraping the appliance have to be followed. 16. Any repairs that need to be done to the heater must be referred to an authorized service agent only.
17. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent in order to avoid a hazard. 18. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet. 19. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. 20. This heater is filled with a precise quantity of special oil. Repairs requiring opening of the oil container are only to be made by the manufacturer of his service agent who should be contacted if there is an oil leakage. Regulations concerning the disposal of the oil when scrapping the appliance have to be followed. 21. The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety 22. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
