Summary of Evaluation Projects Conducted by The Measurement Group Since 1988, The Measurement Group has conducted a number of major evaluations and related studies, including the following projects: Evaluation of a community implementation of online developmental screening services and assessment of related training needs. Project conducted for the Arizona Early Childhood Development & Health Board/First Things First (2015-2016). Evaluation of an inter-conceptional home visiting program for at-risk mothers, on behalf of the Kent County (Michigan) Health Department (2015). Evaluation of the Partnership for Families (PFF) project for Service Planning Area 5 of Los Angeles County, funded by First 5 LA and conducted by Saint John's Child and Family Development Center. PFF is a child abuse prevention program for pregnant women and families with young children (2008-2016) Evaluation of substance abuse prevention services for youth in Service Planning Area 3 (San Gabriel Valley). Services provided by Prototypes, funded by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, Substance Abuse Prevention Control (2011-2015) Evaluation of the Add Us In Los Angeles Integrated Consortium, a program designed to work with small businesses to expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Cross-site evaluation of the Archstone Foundation Elder Abuse and Neglect Initiative. The evaluation supported 18 projects focused on professional education and training, financial protection, forensic centers, legal protection, multidisciplinary team development, long term care ombudsman services, systems analysis and change, and convening and technical assistance to improve the quality and coordination of elder abuse and neglect services in the State of California (Phase I: 2006-2007; Phase II: 2008-2011) Consultation on organizational readiness, evaluation design, and pilot testing of evaluation activities for the Registered Nurses as Service Coordinators program within Schwenkfeld Manor, a housing community for low-income older adults. Services provided by Advanced Living, Inc., funded by the North Penn Community Health Foundation (2008-2009) Evaluation of a comprehensive residential substance abuse treatment program for women with co-occurring substance use, mental health, and trauma disorders, provided by Prototypes in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Public Defender s Office, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) (2007-2013) Evaluation of an Action Community for diabetes health promotion for Haitian immigrants, provided by CCHER, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under the REACH US Initiative (2007-2012) Cross-site evaluation Center for Resourcefully Enhancing Aging in Specialty Nursing, a collaborative project awarded by the Atlantic Philanthropies to the New York University Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing to deepen the involvement of specialty nurse associations in improving nursing competencies in providing care to older adults (2007-2011) Evaluation of a comprehensive residential substance abuse treatment program for pregnant/postpartum women and their children, provided by Prototypes, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) (2006-2010) Evaluation of a substance abuse, HIV, and Hepatitis prevention program provided by Prototypes for young adults re-entering the community from the criminal justice system in greater Los Angeles, funded by the SAMHSA Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) (2005-2010) Cross-site Evaluation Center for the Hartford Gerontological Nursing Initiative funded by the John A. Hartford Foundation. This Evaluation Center supported eight major projects and more than 60 subprojects (2001-2007) Cross-site Evaluation Center for Nurse Competence in Aging, a collaborative project awarded to the American Nurses Association (ANA) through the American Nurses Foundation (ANF), and representing a strategic alliance between ANA, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the John A. Hartford Foundation Institute for Geriatric Nursing, New York University, the Steinhardt School of Education, Division of Nursing (2002-2007) Study of long-term outcomes of 108 national HIV/AIDS service demonstration projects funded under five grant initiatives between 1991-2002 by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB), Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) Program (2002-2004) Evaluation of a substance abuse and mental health treatment program for homeless persons in greater Los Angeles provided by a collaborative led by Homeless Health Care Los Angeles Copyright 2015 The Measurement Group LLC.
