Welcome Cattlemen and Cattlewomen, On behalf of the Sitz Family, I would like to welcome you to our 3rd st Annual Sitz Genetic Influence Bred Female Sale. It is our goal and commitment to work with our customers in attaining top value for their Sitz Influence cattle. The females being offered in this sale are genetically programmed to be profitable in all segments of the industry. They are moderate framed females with the capacity needed to be the easy keeping kind, programmed with enough milk and growth to ensure the calves which they produce will smash down the scales, genetically capable of producing calves that will go to the feed yard with enough feed efficiency and gain ability to fetch the premiums the feed yards so desire, with enough bred in carcass merit to fit the most stringent of grids. We are excited about this year s offering, there will be 1175 heifers bred AI to calve in February, 1125 to calve in March, and 150 to calve in April. These heifers are the Montana Reputation kind, you wont find a fancier set of heifers in volume anywhere in the world. These heifers will be one iron, range ready cattle. They were all summered in big mountain pastures and know how to survive in the real world. All heifers will be double pregnancy checked to assure the buyer they are bred. With the cattle markets at all time highs and the fact that inventories of cattle have been depleted over several years to all time lows, the need for retention is upon us. The females retained today will produce progeny that will sell in an era where the outlook for calf prices is exceptional. As retention starts the prices for bred females is bound to increase, the females purchased today on the front end of retention will be the cheapest female money can buy over the next several years. If you have any questions, don t hesitate to give me a call. We look forward to seeing you on November 12, 2013.
