Assembly Elevator Upper Tabs Base Grooves Slot Hooked Tab Ramp 1 Bottom Slots Tabs Position the elevator on a flat surface. Note the locations of the bottom slots and the upper tabs on the elevator. Hold the base at an angle. While making sure the upper tabs on the elevator fit into the grooves in the base, insert the tabs on the base into the bottom slots on the elevator. Press down on the base to "snap" the elevator in place. 3 Place the garage on its side on a flat surface, as shown. Fit the connectors on the end of the ramp into the holes on the top of the base. Be sure to fit the hooked tab on the side of the elevator into the slot on the ramp. Press the ramp until it "snaps" in place. Place the garage upright again. Elevator Roof 2 Fit the elevator roof on the elevator. Insert four #6 x 1" screws into the elevator roof and tighten. 3 4 Diagnostic Center Slide and "snap" the diagnostic center into the base. Bottom View Turn the base over and insert two 1 /2" screws into the base. Tighten the screws. Turn the base upright.

Assembly Upper Track 5 Lower Track "Snap" the tabs on the lower track into the slots in the base. Column Clamp Track Support Pegs Through Holes 7 Place the garage on its side on a flat surface, as shown. "Snap" the rectangular connectors on the upper track into the holes at the top of the base. Fit the other end of the upper track over the end of the lower track. Place the garage upright again. Insert two 1 /2" screws into the holes on the underside of the upper track, as shown. Tighten the screws. Channel Hooked Tab Elevator Handle Slot 6 Press the clamp on the track support onto the base column. Rotate the track support so that the holes in the support fit over the pegs on the lower track. 8 Tip the elevator handle and fit the hooked tab through the channel in the side of the elevator. Slide the elevator handle down and "snap" the tab on the handle into the slot in the elevator. 4

Assembly News Stand Gate 9 "Snap" the news stand into the top side of the base. 11 "Snap" the gate into the slots on the top side of the base. Vacuum Post Pegs 10 To attach the post, Bottom View turn the base over so the bottom is facing you. Align the holes in the post with the pegs, as shown. Insert two 1 /2" screws into the post and tighten. Turn the base upright. 12 "Snap" the vacuum into the base. 5

Battery Installation Battery Safety Information 1.5V x 3 AA (LR6) SHOWN ACTUAL SIZE Battery Compartment Door Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage: Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). Insert batteries as indicated on the battery compartment door. Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.the batteries may explode or leak. Never short-circuit the battery terminals. Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended. Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging. If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision. Locate the battery compartment on the top level of the garage. Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door. Remove the battery compartment door. Insert three "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries. Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer life. Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw. 6

Decoration Before applying labels, wipe the surface of the toy with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust or oils. For best results, avoid repositioning a label once it has been applied. Apply labels as shown in the illustration. 2 7 5 1 3 4 6 9 10 8 Fun sounds all around the garage! Locate the On/Off switch under the battery compartment. Slide the switch to the position to turn the toy on and to the o position to turn it off. Hint: If your child is not actively playing with this toy, it turns off automatically (sleep mode). When your child is finished playing with this toy, slide the on/off switch to the off position o. Press these buttons around the garage to hear many fun sound effects.
