The border of the hash mark shall be finished in a manner similar to the finished border appearance of the uniform emblem. No frayed appearance or loose threads are acceptable. The police department will provide uniform emblems and service stripes to be sewn on. Bidder is responsible to include in the bid price, the cost of sewing on all required uniform emblems and service stripes. GENERAL INFORMATION The successful bidder shall have the capability to have in stock and readily available for immediate issue and replacement all of the uniform items awarded to said vendor. So that uniforms provide an appropriate fit, the successful bidder may provide on site measuring for each member of the police department who is to receive a new uniform issue if deemed necessary by the Police Department and vendor. Bidders need not bid on all items specified in this bid request. Delivery is to be made within two months of purchase order. Note any shipping charges in bid. If additional charges for extra large sizes, please not in bid. The City of Lewiston Finance Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

All bids must be for items equal or superior to those specified. If the item bid is not the specified item, the brand name and stock number of the item bid must be indicated. Samples may be requested before award is made. All bid prices are to be F.O.B., Lewiston, Maine, and shall be firm for a one year period unless otherwise stated by the vendor.
