Financial Aid and Scholarships Be sure to pick up the booklet Scholarship and Financial Aid Information from the Student Services Office or the Career Resource Center. It is a great resource and place to start in your quest. Never pay for a scholarship search. Scholarship and financial aid is readily available and it is free! There are many scholarships available to minority and disadvantaged students. You just need to do some research. The following is just a brief list of some of them. Application are submitted that can includes recommendations, art (slides), dance (tapes), photographs, or other materials that point to talent and achievement in all areas. National Association of Black Journalists www.nabj.org The NABJ offers 10 scholarships for $2,500. Students must be attending a four-year university. A grade point of 3.0 is desirable.
